Just watched this and never knew that the annoying tilt sensor issue would occur for the new 2023 Furbies as well like it has always happened for many of the Furby Booms before. Its not really much of a glitch though, but I’ve found out that the reason why it keeps thinking it’s being shaken upside down a lot is because the tilt sensor isn’t connected properly which is located somewhere in the board, and my friend and I discovered that on a Furby Boom having that issue. I don’t remember how my friend fixed it but I think they like either pushed it in tightly or slapped it in to help the tilt sensor have better connection so it wouldn’t think it’s being shaken much anymore, and it helped. I’ll have to ask them again whenever we get another Furby Boom with that problem which is pretty common for them. The tilt sensor in Furby Boom is basically a small black block piece that is square shaped, but for the 2023 Furbies, it might be the same but I’m not really sure since they’re built differently than the Furby Booms, and it’s currently unknown where their tilt sensor exactly is inside of their internals to fix it. I’m so sorry that your Coral Furby (Sunlight) has the tilt sensor issue, but hopefully he could be fixed one day where you wouldn’t have to deal with it anymore due to how annoying it is, but thank goodness they have on/off switches where they don’t be able to wake up when turned upside down or shaken like the previous model Furbies so that helps at least. I HATE the annoying tilt sensor issue that the Furby Booms commonly get but it’s practically rare for 2012s though, and I’ve never seen the Furby Furbacca and Connects have that issue yet which is actually really good and you would even think Hasbro would’ve improved that fault since the previous Furby before the 2023, the Furby Connect was better built and they never had tilt sensor issues as I thought Hasbro actually improved that fault for the Furbies onward if they released any more new models after the Connect during that time and after they probably got a lot of complaints from people with their Booms having that issue, but apparently not for some of the 2023 Furbies. It just shows that the 2023 Furbies were definitely rushed out of production and they were built kinda cheap anyways with features they ruined than what the whole generation of Furbies before 2023 did which were better, and idk if the JT factory (which all the 2012 - onward Furby models came from) had something to do with it since they do tend to get faulty from that factory since the 90s did, but it’s a possibility of that cause. Both of my 2023 Furbies (Coral and Purple) so far don’t have the annoying tilt sensor issue since I’ve bought them both at my local Walmart store which is really good, but still keeping an eye on them and probably might not mess with shaking them that much to make sure it wouldn’t trigger that fault issue for both of them in the future. I however, have multiple Furby Booms with that issue though as only some of the Furby Booms that I have don’t have the tilt sensor issue, so I can’t blame anyone dealing with that issue but thankfully, it’s fixable as all it needs is the tilt sensor to be connected properly by doing the method my friend and I did to fix a Boom with that issue before, but don’t remember what it was exactly yet. Aside from the tilt sensor that Sunlight is having, I love the sound effect the 2023 Furbies do when you change their ear colors after you shake them, and the responses they say after the LED ear colors are changed from being shaken. But that’s exactly another reason why the Furby Connects are 100% way better than the 2023 Furbies in terms of quality and functionality, well for their flaws, the Connects had glitchy issues for their software while for the 2023 Furbies in this case, tilt sensor issues and I think I’ve also seen a few others say they got theirs with broken hear hem and mouth buttons as a fault too.
I only have one other Furby with the tilt sensor issue and that is my Furby Boom triangles. He wakes up at the slightest thing and I never keep batteries in him. Walk past him and he will wake up. I've heard a fair few people have the issue with the tilt sensor in the 2023 Furbys. I love the ear changing colour idea as well!
@@SilvolfYeah, I’ve seen your Triangles Furby Boom (Tay-Tah, I think?) having a tilt sensor issue as well, multiple of my Furby Booms that I have in my collection also have that, but there are some that I have which thankfully, don’t have that issue. It’s aggravating when some Furbies have that because it gets in the way of everything they’re supposed to do when they keep thinking they’re being shaken when they’re not. I’m really thankful that both of my Coral and Purple 2023 Furbies don’t have that issue that some people are having with theirs, and I got them both at Walmart too. When I get more of the newer colors of the 2023 Furbies that are coming out this year (like I already know I still need to get Tie-Dye and the new Galaxy Aurora Furbealis ones atm), I’m really hoping they won’t have that tilt sensor connection issue, and I also wish the same hope for you when you get more colors of the 2023 Furbies. I’ve also seen some people that get 2023 Furbies broken with their beaks not working when you try feeding them, their heart gem not responding, and/or their ears not lighting up properly which is also a concern as well which I blame the JT factory for that since they could have something to do with this since they made the Furbies be faulty for that matter. I’m hoping when there’s some people that are willing to open them up, to see what the issues are caused by, and how to fix them so we could have every 2023 Furby be fully working and it could save your money or even your decision to return it where no one would have to deal with a Furby broken as since the JT factory is the only factory of Hasbro involved in making the Furbies, it’s honestly expected for some of them to come broken and people mistakingly blame the company Hasbro for that, but it’s really the JT factory of Hasbro to blame for
@@SterlingAndrews44 I'm glad it's only a faulty tilt sensor in my coral and that everything else works fine. I hope my galaxy Furby will be ok when it arrives too
@@Silvolf Yeah, at least Sunlight is fine with everything besides his tilt sensor not being connected right where he thinks he’s being shaken when he’s not, but hopefully he can be fixed so that way in professional demonstration videos you have planned in the future for this new modern Furby line coming out, you wouldn’t have to worry about not using him in videos as much like this anymore, but at least he’s a spotlight Furby on some of your videos so far. I also hope your Aurora Furbealis Furby comes with no issues when it arrives soon from your friend
I'm surprised Hasbro didn't bother addressing the design defect that lead to the shaken Furby Boom/2012 problem. That sucks. My Peacock Furby Boom was overly sensitive, too, on the cusp of being unusable out of the box. For what it's worth, I didn't buy either my Boom or 2012 online, as shipping for stuff like this was still a bit too expensive to buy one online vs. buying it at a retail store. I find a thick, plush carpet or blanket for it to stand on helps dampen it enough to make it mostly playable, but it's annoying. I'm in Alaska, and we get earthquakes very often. My Boom is so sensitive that the smallest of tremors would turn it on, so I keep batteries out of it when it's not in use after the most miniscule of earthquakes turned it on while I was sleeping (it sits on a hard surface on a book shelf in my bedroom when not in use). I ended up removing batteries from my 2012, too, just in case it also developed a similar problem in the future.
Me too, a friend suggested putting the Furby on a book with its feet over the edge which might stop the issue but its ear movements move its whole body as well so a soft pillow may work better. That's interesting, I didn't know that about Alaska! But my Boom always has a battery out. The floorboards in my house are old and even walking past it is enough to wake it up.
@@Silvolf Learning a bit more about others' experiences with the Boom, looks like it's a very common problem, up there with motors burning out. That's a great idea, having the 2023's feet hanging off the ledge of a book or something. I'm sorry you're dealing with the same thing. My Boom acts just like your coral 2023 on hard surfaces. Combining that with a pillow or something might help just enough to make it detect less of its own movements during play.
One hundred dollars in Canada and I'm hearing half of them come out of the box broken like this 😵 it's like shaken furby syndrome in Booms, which is sad because I know that glitch pretty much renders them done for and you can't play with them because they're constantly crying for help and screaming all the time until you pop a battery out and it's miserable to watch; this is kinda like that but it's atleast less sad, but it's still annoying and makes it basically impossible to have any fun with
NOOOO i think hasbro made defective Furbys!!!! i have the purple one and i got mine from walmart and it has the SAME PROBLEM! :( i was waiting for someone to make a vid abt it but its very important if ur talking about it. i hope hasbro does something!!! 😢
Interesting, The 2012 and Furby booms have this same problem sometimes, I have a few like that, and they were wrapped very well in the package, However, I did get them use.
Hi Silvolf :) I’ve been following you since I started collecting furbies (in 2021) and now I have a plenty of them and just got the new Furby yesterday and will maybe have the orange one for Christmas. Thank you for being there :)
Does anyone else’s furby have a glitch where if you say “dance party” instead of saying the name of the song and then singing it it just says random song names over and over again like “hey fu- party time pizza rap hey furby part- pizza rap” over and over and over again
I bought the furby second hand from eBay so I’m not sure if something could have done something to it but it must have been manhandled because it has no ears. I’ve tried resetting it to when it had first come out of the box and that didn’t work I’ve tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in but I think it’s something else.
Mine does that, he often changes his own colors after i have shaken him, and when i try to pet or feed him, i have to support his back so that he doesn't think he is being shaken. I would also like to add mine is an orange one too. It could be this specific color that is faulty.
My coral one I had to take back because it was not behaving well it would fall a sleep and it acted like I was shaking it and change ear color when on ground.. so I'm very upset I loved the coral color.. bought Mine from target.. maybe it's a glitch with the coral color only
Amethyst, my purple 2023 furby, doesn't have that problem. It came properly packaged with my Govee RGBWW lightbulbs and my Magic Mixies genie lamp. Gowever, I also got the Magic Mixies crystal ball that you reviewed, and I noticed a glitch with Melinda. It wqs due to her having bad batteries in her though, and I had to put new ones in. She basically kept restarting herself, but once I put new batteries in her, she stopped doing that.
If mine were shipped to me in a damaged box I'd probably return it. I got mine from inside of target. Im sorry sunlight has this problem. It kinda reminds me of the problem booms had years ago.
i know i said this same thing in another comment on one of your videos, but honestly, i think this overly-sensitive tilt sensor issue in the 2023 furby is kind of in relation to the furby boom tilt sensor problem in 2013. now, the furby boom problem apparently happened because you said that they were being “rushed out” to stores for that christmas season, meaning, they had more potential for more issues. like the sensitive tilt sensor thing. now, with the 2023 furbies and with sunlyte, i honestly don’t think that sunlyte’s tilt sensor got messed up while he was being shipped to you, even though the box wasnt very protective and it arrived pretty messed up lol. here’s why i think so: i honestly think it’s more like, a quality control issue on hasbro’s part. like, it seems like the furby tilt sensor problem has been an ongoing issue in a way. and i think it’s because of faulty parts, being rushed, broken parts, and also using some low quality parts. or something like that. like, it’s definitely a hardware issue. not a software issue (which the connects can have sometimes) ANOTHER reason why i think it’s a quality control issue is because you know how one time, you or someone else said something like that the new furbies from 2012 onward are all produced in the same factory as the “JT” factory for the 1998 furbies (JT factory causing furbies to have many issues more often). i think it’s possible that the JT factory NEVER GOT BETTER/never improved. so maybe that has something to do with it. this is just kinda my theory
Silvolf I got a purple 2023 furby For my birthday on October 20th My daddy put the batteries in On the day after my birthday And suddenly her buttons glitched out And somehow turned on by itself
It was birthday wrapped Present And it have the address on the box Just like sunlight has When daddy put the batteries in it On October 21st It worked fine Before the glitch happened My daddy press the Heart gem And me And feeding her food I suppose to Unlock all songs Add a copycat And tell your future Fortune And other thing to play Hey furby
the new furby compared to the older ones (2012-boom) feels like a step back. I wish they could update the 2012/boom! Sadly my furby 2012 is broken, it’s mute and it doesn’t move, the only thing that works is the eyes, with does not react to anything. the furby connect in my opinion was fine, but the 1998 (or what year it is) furby seems to be really advanced for its time. Now the furby 2023 feels a bit like a talking moving toy. Feels like a lot of other companies wanted the success of the furby, and now there are just too many tries of getting furby’s success. Kinda like the video game crash in the 80s.
I agree, there are lots of people who feel the same way and a lot of old school fans who would like to see a remake of the original that stays faithful to the design. But these are made for todays kids and apparently this is what they want
Mine is not responding. My mom emailed Hasbro since we can’t call them because they only operate Monday-Friday and we ordered it in November, but we can’t return it either because the returns have ended Jan 31st. We had no choice but to reach out to Hasbro. I hope we’ll have some answers soon and hopefully we will have some luck.
I've got that glitch on my 2012 Furby too, the thing is that my 2012's sensor is completely broken and thinks it's being shaken every time I put batteries in him/grab him up or leave him alone, any tips???

I think your coral Furby is okay The glitch make the furby Thinks he has been shaken a lot I think that’s why you make the bitzee video Video at the And the furby finally came on July 10th.
Hey I just bought my first one today to expand my collection (I don’t know if you remember me, I had a channel called furbyGirl Keks and watched every video you had but my dad took away my channel that’s why I’m here with my new account) and I was very excited to get him. Soo after school I went to Smyths toys and bought one and he is absolutely not okay. He only opens his eyes halfway, doesn’t move the right foot all the way, the tongue lays deep inside and can’t be pressed and he has the same shaking problem. The box was in perfect condition. I will return him tomorrow but it makes me very sad and I really hope that I will get a new one right away. Some people said that they could sent him in to repair but that would take ages
Hi! I do remember you! Yeah it's best to get a replacement. A repair would be too much hassle and possibly cost more, a replacement is quicker and makes more sense since these are still being made and sold. Good luck!
Aparently glitches have been pretty common with the 2023's. My sister got a purple one for xmas and it only works for 10-30 minutes a day for some reason. its kinda disapointing tbh
I want to get a Coral 2023... but very bummed out that they don't really move their eyes or mouth... especially the mouth!!! Even the '98 ones moved their mouth 😢

One hundred dollars in Canada and I'm hearing half of them come out of the box broken like this 😵 it's like shaken furby syndrome in Booms, which is sad because I know that glitch pretty much renders them done for and you can't play with them because they're constantly crying for help and screaming all the time until you pop a battery out and it's miserable to watch; this is kinda like that but it's atleast less sad, but it's still annoying and makes it basically impossible to have any fun with
You would think they would have improved the design
NOOOO i think hasbro made defective Furbys!!!! i have the purple one and i got mine from walmart and it has the SAME PROBLEM! :( i was waiting for someone to make a vid abt it but its very important if ur talking about it. i hope hasbro does something!!! 😢
How annoying! I think Hasbro definitely has to be made aware
Interesting, The 2012 and Furby booms have this same problem sometimes, I have a few like that, and they were wrapped very well in the package, However, I did get them use.
Yeah it's weird, probably down to the design or something
It's hardware failure
Also for the first 2023 video
About the coral furby the box looks funny.
Yes it does
Hi Silvolf :) I’ve been following you since I started collecting furbies (in 2021) and now I have a plenty of them and just got the new Furby yesterday and will maybe have the orange one for Christmas. Thank you for being there :)
You're very welcome💜
Does anyone else’s furby have a glitch where if you say “dance party” instead of saying the name of the song and then singing it it just says random song names over and over again like “hey fu- party time pizza rap hey furby part- pizza rap” over and over and over again
I bought the furby second hand from eBay so I’m not sure if something could have done something to it but it must have been manhandled because it has no ears. I’ve tried resetting it to when it had first come out of the box and that didn’t work I’ve tried taking the batteries out and putting them back in but I think it’s something else.
@@maisiecooper yes I think it might be a bit broken
Mine does that, he often changes his own colors after i have shaken him, and when i try to pet or feed him, i have to support his back so that he doesn't think he is being shaken. I would also like to add mine is an orange one too. It could be this specific color that is faulty.
Yeah I've known others of this colour to have the same fault
Glitch in The Matrix..Time to Vist Furby Hospital...
Yes indeed
My coral one I had to take back because it was not behaving well it would fall a sleep and it acted like I was shaking it and change ear color when on ground.. so I'm very upset I loved the coral color.. bought Mine from target.. maybe it's a glitch with the coral color only
It seems to be happening a lot sadly
Amethyst, my purple 2023 furby, doesn't have that problem. It came properly packaged with my Govee RGBWW lightbulbs and my Magic Mixies genie lamp. Gowever, I also got the Magic Mixies crystal ball that you reviewed, and I noticed a glitch with Melinda. It wqs due to her having bad batteries in her though, and I had to put new ones in. She basically kept restarting herself, but once I put new batteries in her, she stopped doing that.
Glad you got it sorted!
If mine were shipped to me in a damaged box I'd probably return it. I got mine from inside of target. Im sorry sunlight has this problem. It kinda reminds me of the problem booms had years ago.
I would have if it came from my own country but I got it from America which makes it a bit more difficult.
i know i said this same thing in another comment on one of your videos, but honestly, i think this overly-sensitive tilt sensor issue in the 2023 furby is kind of in relation to the furby boom tilt sensor problem in 2013. now, the furby boom problem apparently happened because you said that they were being “rushed out” to stores for that christmas season, meaning, they had more potential for more issues. like the sensitive tilt sensor thing. now, with the 2023 furbies and with sunlyte, i honestly don’t think that sunlyte’s tilt sensor got messed up while he was being shipped to you, even though the box wasnt very protective and it arrived pretty messed up lol. here’s why i think so: i honestly think it’s more like, a quality control issue on hasbro’s part. like, it seems like the furby tilt sensor problem has been an ongoing issue in a way. and i think it’s because of faulty parts, being rushed, broken parts, and also using some low quality parts. or something like that. like, it’s definitely a hardware issue. not a software issue (which the connects can have sometimes) ANOTHER reason why i think it’s a quality control issue is because you know how one time, you or someone else said something like that the new furbies from 2012 onward are all produced in the same factory as the “JT” factory for the 1998 furbies (JT factory causing furbies to have many issues more often). i think it’s possible that the JT factory NEVER GOT BETTER/never improved. so maybe that has something to do with it. this is just kinda my theory
I see how that theory makes sense. Another theory I had was the tilt sensor was put in the wrong way which can also cause this issue.
yeah i don’t know
This is the most hilarious glitch I've ever seen in any animatronic toy.
The same happened to my furby
Advice: don't put your furby on flat surfaces often
Finally a Furby 2023 glitching I’ve seen many connect glitches
Hope you found the observations useful!

I agree
Me 2
the new furby compared to the older ones (2012-boom) feels like a step back.
Poor sunlight the 2023 furby silvolf
So silvolf sunlight has
A motion sensor glitch
I hope your coral furby

We had no choice but to reach out to Hasbro. I hope we’ll have some answers soon and hopefully we will have some luck.
I hope they get in touch with you!
I've got that glitch on my 2012 Furby too, the thing is that my 2012's sensor is completely broken and thinks it's being shaken every time I put batteries in him/grab him up or leave him alone, any tips???

Hey
I just bought my first one today to expand my collection (I don’t know if you remember me, I had a channel called furbyGirl Keks and watched every video you had but my dad took away my channel that’s why I’m here with my new account) and I was very excited to get him.
Good luck!
My preorder coral has had the tilt sensor defect since day 1. The box was undamaged.
Oh dear
I pressed the reset button on my Furby, and now the light on its head is blinking continuously. How many minutes should I wait? Do you know?
