A grand german castle in France - Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg

Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg is a 12th century german castle that is located in north east of France. The castle sits on a 700 meter elevation.
It was fully renovated after it was mostly destroyed by Swedes in the Thirty Years' War.

That is really beautiful. Amazing architecture, and looks to be in excellent condition. So nice to know that people have the time, money, and expertise to restore such awesome wonders. Sweden should be forced to pay for its restoration.

The video doesn't do it justice. The scale is amazing as well which can only be experienced in person.
Great that there was someone who decided to fully restore it and managed to do it before ww1 started. It was an immense effort restoring it to the original look and they took great effort to do it as close to the original as possible.
Definitely recommend visiting if possible.

Loved your videos as well, soothing drone shots of beautiful places are the best. Dji mini was close to the wind limits, but still does the job and is excellent pocket drone.
I'm just making random videos as a hobby to save some good memories and share with others.

@@ebralitis Thanks for the nice reply, Edgars. The DJI Minis are awesome drones and perfect for exploring narrow spaces. 👍 Strong winds can be a problem, though. I am still satisfied with my Mini 2 and won't need anything better soon.
