- Sometimes Rad bikes have electrical issues as with all E-Bikes. A short in your system may cause some parts of your bike to not work, in this case we replaced the battery tray, controller, and wiring harness after testing components to see what went wrong.

These bikes have too many issues. I'll never buy an e-bike again. I mean how the hell does wiring go bad so fast. The latest for me is the tail light is having issues (not fully lighting up). I mean I would expect that from a $500 e-bike but not a $1400 one. How does a led tail light go bad? I'm sticking to normal bikes from now on.
I have a Rad Rover 6 e bike and a trek verve +2. The rad is a dud with lots of electrical issues. Put over 1000 miles on the trek not a single issue. Rad Power Bikes are terrible.
Thank you, are there aftermarket suppliers? How do you start the comprehensive step by step tests to determine where the cause is located?
Got a RadPower 6 Plus that went belly up this morning. Press on the power button and suddenly it displays 21 while blinking and no power. Hope it is not too expensive to fix.

I'm glad I didn't buy one. I'm not rewiring and putting a new controller in myself. 5 and 6 should be recalled. This is now very common. On a $2000 ebike? Really?
Its strange the fat tire folders, didnt have these wiring and controller problems. $2000 ebikes shouldn't have these problems. And waiting forever for parts? Shouldn't be. The 5 and 6 should be recalled.

This is not clear. There is no "wiring harness." That is each wire to the headlight, wire to power, wire to the motor, wire to PAS, etc. Then you talk about switching the controller. and therefore, the "wiring harness" is the fault.
That makes no sense! You can replace the controller. You cannot just replace the "wiring harness."

The battery just got it like that my question is why the back wheel won't turn backwards just freely to the front?

Im on my 3rd battery controller on my rad rover 6 , and it doesn't ride like it use to, im not trusting of rad products anymore. Alot of money because of defective parts and design.
