Ugh I related so much to the twin thing of not wanting people to think we're just the same! When I came out to my twin sister my biggest fear wasn't her rejecting me, it was her saying that she was gay too and stealing my thunder! Thankfully she wasn't - she reminds me all the time of her straightness lol

Well at the age she was talking about, I think most kids could say the same thing. But still I know what she means. There were things you like in your best friends and different things you like about about some other persons. In my case the two groups had different gender and I see how much more complicated it is if they both are the same.

Is it safe to say now after last years findings that being gay can genetic? I don't want any hate here but it's an interesting conversation to have looking back at Tegan and Sara, knowing that science has found the link in DNA.

It's possible. There are many sets of gay twins on RUclips alone, and even in my own life, I am friends with a set of twin brothers who both are gay. It also might not even be exclusive to twins, as I and my older brother of 1 year are also both gay. So I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being that homosexuality is genetic. Definitely would help me out with the whole "I can't believe you chose that lifestyle!!" debate.
