Just an FYI. They like to lip sync the other's vocals while their waiting for their que. It's just what they do. They don't lip sync. Their just into their music. They both have it down with the harmony. She's lip syncing but it's not on her que. They just like to sing along before their que. Both are very talented singers and song writers.

No I think Tegan probably did look at him cause she usually kinda blunders with keyboard and she actually played it right. They usually do several takes of these things so it makes me feel like it could have been where a mess up was in a previous take but who knows.
We don't see Tegan's face there since the camera moves. I assume they shared a moment and he went back to his serious demeanor, since he's a serious song.

The girl on the left is lip-syncing. You can tell at 48 seconds because her lips stop moving, but the voice says a few more words. She lip-sanc when I saw them live with Katy Perry too. I am kind of wondering if the one on the right does all of the vocals on the track, and the one on the right can't actually sing...
Nope. The "girl on the left" is Tegan and she is actually the lower voice. So at 48 seconds when the higher voice keeps going, that is Sara (on the right). I was at this performance, not two feet away from them in the very front. There were only 30 people at this performance because it was an acoustic radio performance. There is no way they were lip-syncing (which they never do anyway). I recorded some of it myself and you can tell here they aren't. They can both sing beautifully. Tegan is definitely sick or something here, her voice is better than this. I tend to like Sara's voice and basic intensity more in any case.
