Wow, I've been thinking for some time about how to transfer an image onto watercolor paper using a light box for some time now for no line stamping. I wasn't sure if the image would show through water color paper, I'm amazed. Thanks so very much!
Sandy what a spectacular video...I love the flowers and what you did with both. The copic was to me fantastic and the water color great. I love the vivid colors and you really know how to get them. Love how brave you are...shows your an artist and just go for it.. thanks Sandy for a great spectacular video...your one of the very best. pat
This is beautiful ! How you use your copic's blows me away ! Thank you for sharing, and taking the time to explaining everything, which is so, so helpful ! Love your Hex chart xo
Simply beautiful! So excited to hear there will be more to the Edu-Digi series. They have been really helpful to me. Thanks Sandy for all the instructional stuff and video's. You've help me in my coloring so much. Blessings to you!
WOWOWWOWOWOWOW!! OMG OMG OMG!! You ROCK!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching you Color!! I'm REALLY NEW to Copic Coloring, but I LOVE to color and I'm SO EXCITED after finding your Videos to Practice and Get Better!! THANKS THANKS THANKS SO MUCH for sharing and have a Fabulous Weekend!! =)
I think this one of my fav videos of yours, if not my favorite. I enjoyed watching you color from the image and explain as you went. That did the most towards getting what you were trying to achieve sink in, I think. Love the finished product!
Awesome, awesome cards. Either way is a vision of beauty. Your talents are really phenomenal. Thank you for showing both techniques and this very fantastic card.
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the technique - your copic coloring skills are amazing and really bring the flowers (gaillardia, I'm pretty sure) to life. Love your videos.
You my friend are amazing! I am so Blessed each time I view your work! I don't just view by the way, I run straight to my craft room to put into practice all your valuable info! Even though I don't know you well enough to receive one of these Masterpieces...lol..just watching you feels like you sent me one! God Bless! "Smiles make cracks disappear"! This cracked me up when I thought of it! Hope it placed a smile on your face!
These are absolutely gorgeous! It's so fun watching you color and your explanations and helpful hints along the way were so great! Thanks for sharing. :)
I just saw your video for the first time. I have to say that your flowers looked so realistic! They were beautiful! Both the Copic and the watercolor were amazing! I have always used Prismacolor markers and have many of those so I haven't bought any copies but I may have to invest in these. I don't have the ranges of color in Prismacolor. Anyway, your cards are amazing works of art and I will definitely be checking out your other videos. Thank you!
As usual...absolutely beautiful cards. I love to watch how you figure out the colors using the Hex chart. I don't have Copics but I am beginning to understand the concept so will try to figure things out the same way with mine markers. Marvelous video...keep them coming. TFS
Loved your video Sandy :) Though I am a watercolorist, sometime back I went on a marker buying spree but haven't used them much. Your tutorial inspires me to try them out more. Thank you for the "multilines widths' cheat sheet on your blog. Very helpful video and look forward to watching other as well.
This is amazing. I cannot blend comics for anything 😟. Not a natural artsy type but love to try. I need to get your hex chart as my blending is so awful!
I wish you could paint that (copics version) and make it into fabric. I don't really like those colors - but it would be stunning!! Seriously though, you should look into creating fabric designs for quilters - HUGE business!
Sandy Allnock Joan and Eric Hi both you will note that I now have an E.Mail address . I was sorry not to have said goodbye to you . I did call you on Eric,s sisters number but did not get a reply. Hope you have settled down and have been telling your family all about you wonderful holiday.ITs already eleventh of Oct. with you I wish you many many happy returns.Love from Bette. X XXX
Oh my gosh these are pretty and oh my gosh those watercolors ARE expensive. I thought the Gansai Tambi were high...lol! So are you able to get the same effect with both or are the Gansai less translucent? You have me stuck on watercolors now but I certainly cannot afford those! I also got that book by Anna Mason and it is beautiful!! However, I can foresee a problem using the colors she uses when the Gansai Tambi are in Japanese. Also, google watercolor pictures of the universe and nebula...just gorgeous!!! Wow this is a long post. Keep on doing what you're doing!
That is really gorgeous it's so lifelike! I noticed you didn't link the set that you used for the greeting. I don't know if that was an oversight or because it's been retired, but could you tell me the name of it? I absolutely love that saying and the beautiful font.
i think your cosmos example are chrysanthemums or painted daisies, but hey..still lvoe them! but no wonder you never got these from your cosmos ;-) lol
Sandy, I sent you a message on facebook because I can't even send you an email through your website. It freezes and I cannot pay for the hex chart, can't email you...it won't let me click on anything once it has loaded.
When it comes to your videos, there is no such thing as ridiculously long. God bless you.
Aww thanks :)
Wow, I've been thinking for some time about how to transfer an image onto watercolor paper using a light box for some time now for no line stamping. I wasn't sure if the image would show through water color paper, I'm amazed. Thanks so very much!
WOW FOR BOTH VERSIONS, COPIC AND WATERCOLOR!!!!
That is gorgeous. I just love how relaxed you are. Everyone who does these coloring/painting videos is so calm and content. I need that in my life.
Wooooow! So pretty... And with markers alone! I really appreciated the tip of taking the enlarged version to your light box. Very cool.
Both the copic coloring and the watercolor are impressive and awe striking!
(Also, I can't believe that anyone could post a dislike about something as beautiful as this... just sayin')
Sassafras Inspired It's amazing what people can dislike. LOL. I saw dislikes on a cute puppy video. WhatEVs people! :)
Very inspiring! I learn so much just watching you create.
What gorgeous flowers and colors, Sandy! Thanks for always inspiring!! Hugs!

Great video. I was totally inspired by both the copic and watercoloring that you did on the digi-image that I went to your Web site and purchased it.
Lovely, thanks for the watercolor at the end.
Awesome, awesome cards. Either way is a vision of beauty. Your talents are really phenomenal. Thank you for showing both techniques and this very fantastic card.
you are absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for sharing you fabulous talent!
I also love the fact that up in the left corner you show what color pen you are using. Wish there were more that did this
It’s a huge amount of work. I totally understand why so few do, it adds many hours to my monthly workload.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this video - SO informative and enjoyable to watch. I'll be viewing it again and again. Thank you Sandy :)

I wish you could paint that (copics version) and make it into fabric. I don't really like those colors - but it would be stunning!! Seriously though, you should look into creating fabric designs for quilters - HUGE business!
@le Chat, I used just a #2 - it did smear, but I kept the line very very light and very very thin to limit that.
Sandy Allnock Thank you Sandy. But doesn't that infect the marker? perhaps an H pencil would be better? harder, lighter and less chance to smear..
Sandy Allnock Joan and Eric Hi both you will note that I now have an E.Mail address . I was sorry not to have said goodbye to you . I did call you on Eric,s sisters number but did not get a reply. The flowers you are using for reference are not Comos daisies, They are called Painted Daisies, but are a chrysanthemum.

This video is so old there’s no way I remember.
@@SandyAllnock1 had a feeling that might be the case but thought I'd ask. Thanks
you read my mind! By one Spirit Indeed my sister!
Are you using a wet into dry technique? Really looks very nice, both are very lovely. And it was not to long if the content is valuable.
Yes wet layered over mostly-dry :)
Thanks 😉
Love both!!!!
i think your cosmos example are chrysanthemums or painted daisies, but hey..still lvoe them! but no wonder you never got these from your cosmos ;-) lol
Yes they're mums---but the flower shapes work for both :)
