Today our guest of honor is a rather unusual vehicle from the UK, a World of Tanks tier 9 medium tank - the Centurion Mk. 7/1 guide.
As usual, we will look at the characteristics of this unit, highlight its most important advantages and disadvantages of the Centurion Mk. 7/1 WoT, let's equip it with everything you need in battle and talk about tactics, sit back.
So, we have at our disposal a safety margin typical for medium tanks of the ninth level, but more importantly, we have at our disposal the largest base field of vision among our classmates of 410 meters.
Speaking of survivability properties, the Centurion Mk. 7/1 armor characteristics are not amazing, however, our armor cannot be called frankly weak either. The strongest part of the tank is the front of the turret, but it becomes extremely difficult to compete with level 9-10 guns.
Regarding the hardness of the VLD, this part can withstand blows of figure eights if it is tightened properly, otherwise it is better not to take risks and hide the body. Particular attention should be paid to the fact that the Centurion Mk. A 7/1 WoT tank is unable to tank on its side; it is better not to place this part even at an angle.
In terms of mobility, starting from the eighth level, British tanks become quite slow and this will continue until the top tank. So the Centurion Mk. 7/1 World of Tanks, although endowed with good dynamics, its maximum speed leaves much to be desired, but this is not surprising, given its impressive dimensions.

With weapons, things are much more interesting, one might even say confusing. The fact is that we have two different weapons available to us and the choice of each player will depend on individual preferences and playing style.
Pre-top Centurion Mk. The 7/1 gun is distinguished by its small alpha strike, weak penetration with a basic shell (you will have to carry more than 50% of the gold ammunition), but at the same time it has a really good rate of fire, due to which we can deal approximately 2400 units of damage per minute. In addition, this gun is much faster to fire.
As for the top gun, it comes with the Centurion Mk. 7/1 World of Tanks has powerful one-time damage, excellent penetration with a basic sub-caliber, but loses a lot of DPM due to a very long reload. It is also worth noting that in this configuration, the alternative to the sub-caliber projectile is regular and gold land mines, which also imposes certain restrictions.
However, both guns have parameters that can be summarized and will please you. Regardless of choice, the Centurion Mk. 7/1 WoT has good accuracy, thanks to the initially small convergence circle, as well as excellent stabilization. Let's add here a gun declination angle of -10 degrees and we get very enviable results.
To sum up the first result, it must be said that everyone must decide for themselves what is more important to them, high DPM or powerful one-time damage.
Advantages and disadvantages
Since a detailed analysis of the general characteristics of the tank and its weapons is left behind, to improve the perception of information, especially regarding guns, it is worth systematizing everything, highlighting the main strengths and weaknesses of the Centurion Mk. 7/1.
Pros:
• Variability of weapons;
• Good DPM of the pre-top gun;
• Powerful alpha strike of the top gun;
• Decent accuracy in both cases (scatter, convergence, stabilization);
• Good dynamics and maneuverability;
• Comfortable vertical aiming angles;
• Best visibility on the level.
Minuses:
• Strong gold addiction and weak alpha strike for the pre-top gun;
• Poor damage per minute for the top gun;
• Limited maximum speed;
• Large dimensions of the tank;
• Mediocre booking.
