In this video I take my 6 year old daughter for a mountain bike ride. As a dad, I value providing experiences that teach my kids perseverance and grit. We of course also have fun when navigating all of the challenges that mountain biking throws our way.

Adia getting older and stronger and it's great to see her navigate corners, standup on her pedals and begin to grasp the fundamentals of mountain biking.
It is awesome that you have such a great relationship with your kid. I used to have the same thing, as my daughter is getting older she is starting to do her own things but she still makes time to hang out with dad and make some youtube videos traveling together, cherish it man, they grow up way to fast.
She is such a good student and so charitable. . I just adore this little girl❤❤❤

Thanks for the support. The kids are great and Courtney is amazing. The boys aren’t AS into mountain biking as Adia is - atleast not as often….but they’re still getting out the odd time with mom and friends. We will hopefully get some down killing days in at the ski hill too. 🙏

I like the occasional bike park trail, but they're too often too sanitized even when you move to red and black lines. Kids also need to learn how to go over chaotic roots, rocks, off camber mud, washed out ruts and tight, irregular turns. None of which need to be hard, you can find examples at numerous difficulty levels but bike parks usually just steamroll them into oblivion and replace them with jumps.
PS general rule of thumb with picking wildflowers is "just don't", endangered or not. I've recently learned one species I've always known to be extremely abundant everywhere, is actually protected for some reason or other.

We have been moving and I've been constantly juggling work projects on our new property, parenting responsibilities and my full-time paramedic job. Winter content is FULL-ON and I've noticed a bit of a trend of me needing a bit of a break come spring.
