One low elo mistake I’ve noticed is that junglers feel obligated to “help” their losing lane, instead of looking for opportunities elsewhere on the map. A lot of times trying to help just ends in feeding a laner a double kill and all your resources. Play around winning lanes!!
As a jungler who used to make this mistake: we'll get blamed for the laner going 0-3 before our first clear, getting flamed till we babysit em and I used to help cuz I was tired of getting bitched at till I realized why it was wrong to try. As Junglers, the abuse gets old and contributes to mistakes like that.
I can't stress enough that dying in certain scenario is ok or even mandatory to do (assuming that you know what you're doing) but sometimes your teammates just doesn't know how to capitalize it
The thing abt knowing when to die is even when ur team don’t capitalize it’s not punishable by the enemy because ur dying in a spot or at a time where u won’t lose much even worst case scenario
I have actually learned through experience that giving up is an absolute NEVER in wild rift. There have been matches that I would be so negative and absolutely positive that there was no way we would be able to win the game and constantly trying to surrender with one of my teammates keeping us from ending the game with a no vote. I'd get so pissed. Ugh wasting my time why aren't you just surrendering? We can't win this match! But since I'm still in the match I'm still actively trying to play, not trolling, and somehow by some miracle it would seem, we manage to freaking turn the game around and win due to a baron steal by me or a teammate, or just one solid team fight won due to them being split 3 and 2 and us grouping in 5 and capitalizing on their mistake. The final score looking like 23-45, with the entire graph for experience and gold being solid red in their favor the whole game but still we somehow managed to win. So I no longer think that surrendering is a net positive for my ranked score ever based on time saved by not continuing a guaranteed lost match because it's just absolutely impossible to know that you're going to lose the game and I've been proven wrong 75% of the times I voted to surrender and my teammates diddnt. Thanks positive teammates. You guys taught me to be a winner and think positively. GG. I finally made it out of Emerald. Lol.
@talanwr Thanks! I actually just reached Master last night thanks to the Aegis Shield Beta. Finally getting some recognition for holding my team down in the jungle even with a loss. Feels much more rewarding to strive to do the best that I can even if we may lose knowing that with and S I won't lose marks and will steady keep climbing due to my skill and active team work. People don't realize it but to get an S you can't just be playing for yourself. I've seen comments like "oh great, this is going to force players to be greedy and try to stay alive instead of fighting to the death if it benefits the whole team, but truly getting an S rating involves so many different factors and team fight participation and ally buffing/healing/shielding etc is absolutely a decent slice of that 🥧 guys.
@@Rocka7038 that is absolutely in no way shape or form remotely true and I have numerous examples of games against former rank 1 players or other sovereigns in which games were thrown despite 10k plus gold leads
@@talanwr I know it's possible to comeback in every elo but I'm just saying it's way more difficult and rare in higher elos against players who knows how to play with a lead, in lower elos players throw games left and right literally every game is winnable

rush defensive boots, eclipse, steraks, black cleaver, twin guard, situational tank item. Easier to carry with this build but harder to survive ganks and obviously worse front lining. Heartsteel build scales better but is much worse early game

In low elo it's true but in gm and challenger the enemy won't give you a chance to comeback if they have big lead
