Two weeks later, the dam crumbled. The river is now free flowing from lake Erie to Chagrin Falls. We have steelhead trout fishing and a much healthier, prettier river! Losing that dam was the best thing to happen to the Chagrin, ever.
its a wonder of nature, yer only seeing the top parts of the ice, most of the ice in under water, some hunks as big as a house. just goes to show water is the most powerfull force ever know to man, you can contain it but you can not stop it.

Even with all that flow and a waterfall the level is still rising, mother nature is awesome and powerful

The ice skating season on that particular river ended abruptly.
That's about 30 minutes from my house. I'll have to check it out in a few weeks.
