Yes. He's my favorite player. I started playing in 2003 and I never saw any badminton videos until RUclips started in 2005. Taufik was already near the end of his prime by then but his beautiful shots are immortalized on these low quality videos.

The lightness and economy of movement and the quality of the shot making from both of these players is still extraordinary even 15 years later. It is nearly impossible to explain to a non-player just how far ahead of "ordinary" players these guys are and what it takes to achieve the level of ability that makes the game look so effortless.

This is called a proper and perfect badminton match. Few of the top players of our current generation plays really boring defensive games . Best example was 2023 world championship final. Really nobody would like to watch that kind of games
