Awesome job mate. For the future ones can you include the price and maybe a screenshot of the stats when the rifles are introduced? Just to help us new soldiers get some insight on the weapons. And also a final summary with the guns and their strengths/weaknesses would be huge. Keep it up though, your work looks professional.
Something I could potentially look at doing at the end of the videos, I’ll have a play around with it and see if I can come up with something. Part of me worries it’ll be a bit too repetitive but I’ll look into it still :)

What kind of youtube voodoo did you do? I just stumbled across the old Quartermaster's Overview videos yesterday and watched the NC ones and said "man I hope CAMI brings this back soon, I want an assault rifle video!" Imagine my surprise..
I did not really know what the difference between all these rifles was..I could see all the /x/x/ stats and bullet drop off damage but the video really helped glue it all together. I will be subscribing

The Reaper DMR and Vanquisher are my 2 go too weapons. I love the challenge of the Vanquisher and i love the full auto of the DMR. I love the A-tross for it's controlability however it's lower RPM does make it a bit trickier to use in CQC.
I recently unlocked the Vanquisher and it fucking deletes people. It handles so well for a gun that packs such a punch and even in CQC a couple panic shots will down your antagonist and you'll take a couple seconds to notice that you're alive and they are dead because you'll be pretty used to dying in CQC as NC.
I believe you're missing out on the first shot recoil multipliers being an important part of each weapon. The S variant of the Gauss Rifle might have more base per-shot recoil but its multiplier is merely 1.5x, over the 2.15x of the standard rifle which is pretty jumpy. All Burst variants of stock weapons used to be worthless until they gave them a lower than normal FSR a long time ago, 0.5x in the case of the GR Burst. This means for players who prefer fighting at distances where they must fire in very short bursts or even on semi these variants will be more controllable.
I don't medic.. I decided to pick it up and get the Vanquisher and OMG 2 days later auraxium. Such a fun gun and now I medic a lot! Seriously out of 140days on my account I had like 6 on medic until I goofed around with this gun.
I would love to see updated quaternaster overview with all the changes and rebalances that happened in the past 2 years + directive weapon overview(is it worth the farm)
how can your game has so mutch fps with ultra settings? i have a gtx 2070 super and a core i7 8400k with 12 cores and i play with low settings and sometimes i have 40 fps while playing... i need to know ur trick! btw good video m8 :)
Some oddities I want to point out; the MGR-A1 Vanquisher has NO RECOIL, the game kinda shakes your screen as if you recoil, but if you shoot it at a point on a wall all shots will be at the same point except for some minuscule horizontal shake. The Carnage and the GR22 sound like comparisons to some of TRs higher DPS weapons, but in actuality, the Carnage AR has 750rpm but has stats similar to TRs 800 rpm weapon, and the GR22 has 800 rpm but has stats similar to TRs ~850 rpm weapon....so it feels kinda lame once you realize that.Oh, and TR's weapons have 40 per mag while NC still has shitty 30 rounds per mag for these weapons. Also, the Gauss Rifle Burst has a TR clone, the SABR-13, which does the exact same thing and practically the same stats, except the SABR has access to the compensator making it way better for seemingly no reason. I don't mean this to say TR's weapon suite is better, but more that the games "imbalance" is kind of annoying. If you wanted to look at NC's weapons as being better, then it would be the fact that the ONLY 167 damage profile assault rifle TR has is the SABR, meaning that TR is locked to "not quite medium range" while NC easily capable of medium range while still being "sorta" capable at short range. The real division between factions is actually the Carbine, where each faction has one odd weapon that blows all others out of the water for different reasons.
What is this I keep hearing about NC weaponry having high recoil? I can never manage to wrap my head around it, they always feel like they have some of the least to me.
Recoil per shot on NC weapons is typically higher but on the flip side they typically have less horizontal shake, meaning they kick hard but have a generally easy pattern to control (except for a few outliers)
Interesting. I slow this video down to 0.25 speed. At 4:20, you take down a player without a single shot landing. That is very impressive, Very impressive indeed. Almost unbelievably impressive…….
The vanquisher's selling-point of being a one-burst headshot kill at any range never seems to be true. I've checked the dispersion in the VR and it's almost non-existent for a single burst and yet I consistently have to land 2-3 and sometimes 4 headshot bursts on some individuals... Heck, even if some of the bullets are landing in the neck/upper-chest it should still be a 2-burst kill when some of them are landing in the head. I honestly can't wrap my head around doing more than 3600 damage within 10m and not getting a kill.
Ah yes these weapons are some of the finest the New conglomerate can provide so go choose your rifle and show those vanu and Republic fools what for Dead ass these out of all 3 factions assault rifles feel so damn right the NCI gauss rifle is just perfect and if a fellow soldier says that it isn’t they have no idea what they’re speaking about Okay now the reaper is a solid option if you want to yeet trucks but you better kiss your shoulder goodbye The tross is a gauss rifle and reaper hybrid that is well interesting The Gr 22 and carnage is good for those who have realized the error of the TR but want something closer to home i have had some time on these and I would say they’re pretty neat Now the burst rifles Nice control and damage but in the panic you had a fine service soldier

I just find it kinda sad that this dude provides free entertainment for people and the majority of comments are like "wow thanks, this is great" and some people can't help but point out the one tiny thing that was wrong. That's all.
I wouldn't have minded NS Weaponry for players that switch between multiple factions or use the new robot system or whatever the issue I have with NS Weaponry is some of them are just blatantly overpowered and are just so meta like the ms-15 the commissioner the Blunderbuss all those are just ridiculously good the MS-15 if you're good with headshots destroys anything arguably equal and or better than what the new conglomerate supposed to be good at. The commissioner hits like a truck and can two shot headshot most enemies and when hip firing the cylinder can guarantee kill an enemy before your cylinder runs out in the Blunderbuss is just what infiltrator trolls used to go right up behind Un-cloak blast your ass for everything and run away again. A good portion of the Ennis weapons are arguably better than faction weapons that we should be focusing on NS weapon should be middle-tier average grade serviceable that's transferable between all factions 4 gameplay for balance purposes but a good portion of the weapons are arguably better than most of the faction specific counterparts and that's the issue I have with them.
Playing a highly contested area in PS2 is worse than banging your head against a wall. 0 Gameplay, I mean even Battlefield 3 - Metro you could still get your frag on sometimes.
I don’t really want to show an extensive list of stats here because it’s all about discussing a couple of key features, and then letting the in-depth weapon reviews do the majority of the analysis. This series is designed to give newer players (or players venturing to other factions) a brief look at their weapon options and how they all work. Thanks for the feedback mate!

I like the series here, but I mainly play the VS and I cannot wait to hear the opinion of Camikaze of the sniper rifles there...as weird as it is my favorite is the Phaseshift alt fire mode. Probably see a vid about the VS stuff like a year from now though. 😆

I'd like to point out that, if i'm not mistaken, vanquishers fire rate is calculated from start of burst and doesn't take the burst into account.

gr22 is a more of a VS weapon. its almost identical to the HV45

They have higher recoil pulses but less frequent pulses so it balances out fairly well.

You might be surprised I have a 39% accuracy on my gr22... that's by far my best accuracy of all primary slot weapons...

4:32 that's not true. The Reaper DMR is tied with the Gauss SAW and AC-X11 at 500 RPM. The Gladius beats them all by an astounding 22 RPM.

how come your character runs so fast compared to me even when using the athletic implant?
He's using a FOV of (i think) 110 so it just looks like he runs faster, he doesnt actually

We aren’t going to be doing Directive weapons as most players don’t have access to them, so I don’t consider them parts of the general armoury.
