Very informative information my friend. Secondary beam is also called concealed beam. Purpose of this beam is to reduce span length (Distance between two columns). It is normally providing in stair case area where span is more than 5 meter in length.
Please advice
1) what should be minimum distance between natural ground level and bottom of plinth beam?
2) Is DPC is still necessary if provide plinth beam.
3) is it necessary to provide plinth beam in Load bearing brick structure? I have notice that in village, no one is providing plinth beam in Load bearing brick structure.

Sir ..loved your video and method of explanation. Sir I am constructing a ground floor house on 100 sq yard. Depth of foundation is 3 ft and above road level it is 2 ft...So overall 5ft from the foundation to the plinth beam...Is it ok???Can I also construct Ist floor house at a later stage???Please advise
