just a little tip u might want to tie the lead rope a little tighter cuz it’s loose enough to where she could get her foot caught in it and i had it happen to me and it’s not a good feeling or experience for the horse!
I can empathize! We have a new neighbor behind us. Our Great Pyrenees has decided he needs to get loves from the new neighbor. Only problem is… the yard has a double fence line, about 6 feet between the fence lines. Yesterday Cherokee broke through the first fence… My husband and I spend most of this morning putting in new T posts and welded wire fencing. Of course it is all in the sun and in the 90’s here in Tucson today!
Wow Beulah did fantastic 😍👍.... I was cracking up watch the pup play tug of war with her own tail 🤣... OMGOSH she actually took that knife 😲🤣🤣🤣... Looks like you had fun fixing that fence 😜❤
She might chew through the paracord. The last two puppies I had were both chewers and chewed up furniture and the walls, I had a heck of a time, they spent a lot of time in their "house" aka kennel.
For the dog panels take good wire, like electric fence wire and weave it around the bottom pipe through every loop of the chain link. Go up about a foot or so on the side. This works for all critters and dogs that test it. Once a dog learns that, it will test them again and again, that's for sure.
Oh she only went under it because it came loose and she was small enough to peek through it. Normally they’re only up there for mealtimes and so it’s not an issue or short period of time if I’m working on something, there’s no need to run hotwire around that little dog pen securing the chain link has worked just fine
@@3MISSISSIPPISome misunderstanding. Was not suggesting it to be hot wire, as it would be grounded out anyway, just wired down using wire, such as electric fence wire. Dogs that test and get away with it, they will store that in the memory banks for later use on other things.
Not since we first got her because she started really misbehaving. We wanted to get her back in order and establish ground control before trusting her with a rider . But this weekend , since her behavior is so good now and she trusts us , we will give her a go again 😀
To get her to stand still while working on hooves, put you thumb in her ear and your finger on the outside on her ear and bend her ear down. Not hard but easy. She will be distracted by that.
Did anyone tell you she is going to need a companion horse , they are herd animals and get a bit rowdy if they don’t have a friend! So save your money check out horse ads see if you can get another horse or pony ! It will make your horse very happy!
She has been alone basically her whole life . When we have tested her around our neighbors horse … it didn’t go great. She has taken awhile just to trust and warm up to us.
😂 this is “real content “ and the last several videos were mostly Mike and Frank doing things with me mostly filming and Fridays video is going to be their camping trip . But sometimes I am in the videos doing things ( like fixing the pen in this one ) and processing birds but I guess that’s not “real content “ either 🙃
Our lgd were pups when this was filmed and still being trained . The younger one is still only 9 months old but I have worked with them both daily since we got them and they are both doing their jobs fantastically.
Please dont tie your horse in such a way that she can step over the lead and get in a storm, get hurt or hurt someone else. Tie them with their head up enough that they can't get their head down low enough to step over the lead....just sayin'...it happens a lot.
Metal zip ties works on repairs to Kennel fencing 😊
A good farrier is worth his weight in gold!! Beulah did beautifully!! I am so glad ya'll got to see Mack and Patti!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏 for Tashka!!

Hello Syd, Mike, & Frankie

How often do you saddle and ride her?
Not since we first got her because she started really misbehaving. We wanted to get her back in order and establish ground control before trusting her with a rider . But this weekend , since her behavior is so good now and she trusts us , we will give her a go again 😀
Beulah shouldn't be alone!!!
She is used to being alone and doesn’t like other horses .
Fence like that has to be buried about 4-6 inches below ground if you want to keep animals in and predators out!
What do you call her coloration?
Flea bitten but I call her freckled cause it sounds better 😂
good job on the fence Syd
Thank you 🙏
What breed is he !
The guy holding Beulah was lightly patting her on the head and she looked like she was going to sleep.
Yep 👍🏼 it’s a little trick to chill the horse out 😀 they were so gentle with her .
Do you put the horse in a barn at night to keep her warm and dried
Nope, my goats , sheep, pigs etc have also always lived outside … like animals do in nature .
To get her to stand still while working on hooves, put you thumb in her ear and your finger on the outside on her ear and bend her ear down. Not hard but easy. She will be distracted by that.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂love it!
"She's Armed!"
😂
Use zip ties for fence
beulah is strong & independent, does that sound familiar mom?
😂
Did anyone tell you she is going to need a companion horse , they are herd animals and get a bit rowdy if they don’t have a friend! So save your money check out horse ads see if you can get another horse or pony ! It will make your horse very happy!
Always use a pro, angles can make or break a horse
Mama? She's preg?!
No … I call all my girls mama and baby 😂
🙋♂️👍❤️
I'm not sure, syd but...armed animals is not a good thing😁 oh...those animals😁👍 good luck, great video, syd. Thank you😁👍🍺
No doubt ! It’s an uprising 😂
Horses Need Other Horses!! Pasture pets!

@@3MISSISSIPPI She will you have an amazing family! God Bless🙏
Need more Mike and frank both channels are turning into a talk show, bring back real content please

Your dogs need training. A guardian dogs should not act in that manner. Your male or female.
Our lgd were pups when this was filmed and still being trained . The younger one is still only 9 months old but I have worked with them both daily since we got them and they are both doing their jobs fantastically.

It was a temp tie while I stood with her for 5 mins .
