I have now officially become part of the Mondeo family with a Mk4 Titanium X 2.0tdci Very proud to be part of the Mondeo history, and even in 40-50 years, if I'm still around, I'll remember these cars Thank you Ford for making awesome automobiles, and even though the Mondeo will be gone next year, I trust the brand will keep making great stuff
As a BMW fanatic myself, I was a proud owner of a Australian made Tickford ED Falcon XR6 an decade ago & still it always forever made me sealed a special spot for factory fast Fords worldwide. Just like the Mondeo ST200 estate wagon which has the same desirable appeal as my old XR6, after I watched the Grand Tour episode on British fast fords.
I still have Ford mondeo mk 1 build 1994 with enginr 1.8clx. I love this car it is so reliable car and the comfort is amazing. I blow the engine yesterday and i found another engine 1.8 also petrol with 120 thousand kilometers and i think i will keep it for the next 10 years. Thanks to whoever designed this car.
It was doomed by sharing the stable with its American brother, the Taurus, which was larger and more competitive in that respect with other cars in the American market.
Happy Birthday FORD MONDEO I had MKIII hatchback 2.0 - and it was a great car, I loved it And now I'm still driving MKIV facelift 2.0 diesel titanium - I love it so much.
I currently have a mk5 mondeo titanium and I think its the business. Well made, great to drive, comfortable, reliable, great on fuel and toys on it that could rival any luxury car. I never get out of it and think I wish I bought something else. It truely is a brilliant car.
unfortunately here in Brazil was not as successful as in Europe, but made a few passionate about this beautiful car, my 19 years after joining a lot of money, I could ultimately performs a dream, bought a Mondeo mk3 2005 rarity here in Brazil , congratulations mondeo, you conquered Europe, and a few passionate here in Brazil.
In my family whe have 3 mk1s 1 93 1.8TD in glx trim 1 93 1.8 zetec in clx trim and 1 94 1.6 zetec in clx trim lovely cars even after al these years a mk1 doesnt look old i keep mine and take it to ford shows
I have a ford mondeo st24 2.5L duratec engine one of the best ford engines when they ever made.-I think the mondeo is best in class because he have a best accerlation and handling.-This video is because I drive a ford mondeo but second generation is my mondeo from 1999 and my mondeo was mading from 1996-2000 and we can to see some mondeo second facelift generation from 2001 but a think the best mondeo generation is third generation!
I had the first in 1994, 5door with the styling kit, all black. 2.0, 136hp. beautiful car. then I bought the 1998 model, station wagon, silver, 2500cc v6, still there after almost 300.000km and still working perfectly !! unfortunately, IMO, they stopped doing it great... the 2001 generation and next weren't good as the previous... too bad...
Silver light well i had the mk2 and mk3 and i liked both but the mk3 was my favorite because it had most space and it was very comforable. the mk2 was very reliable.
For me it has got to be the 1993 MK1 Mondeo with the RS styling body kit (big edgy front and rear bumper, side skirts, rear boot spoiler and those knock off 16" escort cosworth alloys). I always liked the look of them and they actually look quite retro these days in the above form.
Mk4 2007 to 2014 was the best, massive step forward from the dated looking mk3. Also came with good engine choice extremely comfortable, plenty of space and great to drive.
The mk1. It hardly matters which one. They're as accessible as any other Ford but they drive like freakin Alfa Romeos! It's a magic combination that I'm not sure has ever been done before. Miss my old one all the time.
Ok the MK2 its a great Car. But I Have also a Primera P11 2.0.This Car tops the Mondeo easy. The Nissan 2.0 Engine is a beast, only the Suspension from Mondeo is better for me...
Yer and now they cancel the Focus and Fiesta , god knows why they are good cars i had a 1998 Fiesta MK4 a while back and loved that car , drove the 2016 model a number of times to and it was a good car , i owned a Focus mk2 for 8 years and loved it , i have onwed a 2018 model focus for the last 2 years and thats a nice car to i really think Ford has made a mistake to cancel the focus and fiesta
I'm pretty sure 1995 model should be called second generation, while 2000 - third... of Mk3. Anyway, time sure flies. I liked the Mk2 generation very much, but i always consider Passat as the top in its class, Mondeo was only more affordable.
I don't agree. The Passat has mediocre handling, the 1.8T used a hell of a lot of petrol, parts were hugely expensive, it had a notchy gearbox and a boring interior. And the seats were poo. The sports versions of the Passats have always been horrible, but the ST-versions of the Mondeos brilliant.
Had a 2.8vr6 Passat and a Mondeo st200 .bar the AWD of the Passat the the Mondeo was a far far better car in everyway . Space comfort handling seating boot space.heated screen etc. And before vw fans say reliability.mondeo cost me £300 in 5 years re mots. Most in exhaust and brakes. Passat over £1500 .only Passat broke down .both good cars buy Mondeo was the better product
Mk1 (1993-96) and Mk2 (1996-2000) belong to the first generation, since the Mk2 ist just an (heavy) restyling of the Mk1. The Mk3 however was all new and belongs to the second generation
Beautiful car then, it's a beautiful car now. After all why have chicken when you can have beef. I'm about to aquire the Mk5 2.0l Tdci Titanium. I used to own the Mk3 1.8 petrol I was gutted to have to sell it.....I think Ford made a mistake by stopping it's production. The new crossovers SUV's and electrics to me are somewhat tacky and tinney
And now you're killing it and killing your own company by shitty quality and thereby endless expensive recalls. How many recalls and technical service information on the Focus Mk3? No wonder you make no profit.
Mk1s rock!! They handle like their on rails. I have 1 as a trackday car!
So true. They really pulled one out of the hat with that thing. I run mk4 xr5 these days, but I miss my mk1 all the time.
I now have my second Mondeo MK2. For me one of the best looking cars ever Made.
I have now officially become part of the Mondeo family with a Mk4 Titanium X 2.0tdci

I used to have a Mondeo 2.0Si saloon mk2 in Panther Black.
And the new one is even more staggering to look at!
Thanks to whoever designed this car.
i have the same car but year is diffrent mine 1993
Love my 1997 Mondeo Mk2 "First Edition" , its my current daily driver. ^^
I love the Mondeo and my US version Contour. Its a shame it didnt catch on as much over here, its a great car.
It was doomed by sharing the stable with its American brother, the Taurus, which was larger and more competitive in that respect with other cars in the American market.
They are the best car that has ever been put on the roads
Happy Birthday FORD MONDEO
I had MKIII hatchback 2.0 - and it was a great car, I loved it

Mk3 Mondeo shall I count it as the Second or Third Generation, we had a Mondeo Mk3 we sold it.
2nd and 4th generation are the best looking .
F.ckin great ending of a great commercial. And the narrator isnt to bad att all eighter. Great ford
2022. They say they Will discontinue it after 2023. EVs and SUVs are what mass market needs and that's how they optimize model range
the ford Jelly Mould my dad had one of them.... it got better over the years and the Cosworth really put it on the map.....
Ray Knows Best

Io amo la Ford Mondeo!!!😀😀😀😀
30 years of Ford Mondeo
MK2? No?
My 1996 Mondeo MK1 2.0 16v Zetec 132 PS runs perfectly, 396 000 km and no problem, but the rust is here ...
I have a 25yr old td mk1.its my sixth mk1 and i had a mk2.i prefer the old ones though cos they are more reliable.
what do you think guys was the best mondeo model and why?
Silver light well i had the mk2 and mk3 and i liked both but the mk3 was my favorite because it had most space and it was very comforable. the mk2 was very reliable.
NobelMicha 2.2 diesel Titanium x sport was definitely the best.

He's the daddy.
I don’t get it... it’s an American brand but you guys have your own branch and make ur own fords over in uk??
Ford's been making cars in the UK even when Henry Ford was still alive.
Yup tyson. They make some cool cars with powertrain options we dont get here in the states :-)
Jeremy Clarkson looked like Elvis Presley in 1993.
Why this ford forgot about its old telstar?
Oh Tom and Jerry
Ok the MK2 its a great Car. But I Have also a Primera P11 2.0.This Car tops the Mondeo easy. The Nissan 2.0 Engine is a beast, only the Suspension from Mondeo is better for me...
Great, now we're ending it.
Future says Ford cancels one of the best cars they've made that's what it calls for
Yer and now they cancel the Focus and Fiesta , god knows why they are good cars i had a 1998 Fiesta MK4 a while back and loved that car , drove the 2016 model a number of times to and it was a good car , i owned a Focus mk2 for 8 years and loved it , i have onwed a 2018 model focus for the last 2 years and thats a nice car to i really think Ford has made a mistake to cancel the focus and fiesta

Yeah.. but for now.. RIP.. Ford successfully killed the best car in it's category. Congratulation Ford!
I have an MK1 hehehe
March 2022 will be discontinued..
😭
Wonder what the future holds:
Cancelled.
-Ford .....an American product being done by Brits and 007....an American product bn done by brits! 😂
Lowsy cars from UK péssimos fiquem com eles

Os carros ingleses sao mesmo muito muito maus. Já fizeram outros tal como focus e continua a mesma porcaria. Jamais compraria um carro inglês
It's a pity that a car that achieved so much in the past is going to go out on a pathetic whimper, as car sales shift to them god awful SUV's
Why are they so cheap to buy second hand
Dan Willis because they are popular with fleet buyers.
And now you're killing it and killing your own company by shitty quality and thereby endless expensive recalls. How many recalls and technical service information on the Focus Mk3? No wonder you make no profit.
The contour sucked
