I honestly, honestly didn’t learn anything from this and I watched it twice.
A part 2 will be coming as a lot of people were not able to follow this tutorial. After the mentorship i found a lot of people need more detailed explanation. So keep your eye out for this!

Thank you for this video. Packaging and labeling has always been difficult for me. My logo is neutral colors. So trying to make your labels pop on store shelves is key.
Where did you start when getting them in stores
Where do i go to in order to outsource labels being designed and made for 2oz metal tins and bottles etc?

Depends on which label your making. For shampoo , conditioners, gels, butters, creams. I reccomend getting them outsourced. I print mine at Leapinlizardlabels.com for smaller cosmetic items like lipgloss, skin care items i sometimes get them printed through Avery or do them myself at home through Avery templates.

This was very helpful, can you do a video on adding a barcode? Does leaping lizard send you a copy of the label so you can see the quality before placing your order? Did you create your logo or did you work with someone to create it?
Yes sure. Do you mean how to obtain the barcode? I placed it on the label because they send it in different formats like png or jpeg image. Leapin does not send you a real copy before ordering. They send you a virtual proof with the edges ect. Showing where the labek will be cut. I designed my own labels myself. Never used a designer!

Honestly I'm not sure about that and I imagine you can't have a PO box for legal reasons. But you can get a virtual mailbox that is an actual address and use that on your return shipping labels, address any documents you want to come to your business but not to your house as well as for information on any product bottles

You have to buy it ... look up gs1 barcodes

when you make your own do you scale it up too to print or you do the actual size? When I do my own and I print it comes out much smaller and I do not know why!

You can email leapin lizards labels if you have problems but I usually just do the shiny ones I've also did the transparent ones before and the quality is there

Having big trouble with my labels
I was wondering if you could please show how you write in metallic colors? For example your “Royalty” and “hair oil” are in gold. I want to write in silver and I have the silver metalic foil photo from Canva but I cannot figure out how to use them to write in a metalic effect. Your help means a lot. Thats why i use Picmonkey. You can change the texture in Picmonkey. Use picmo key go to textures and change your texture of the font. You can also upload your own textures. Thats how i got my gold texture. You can not do this in Canva. Hope this helps?

You can get textures off of Google but you can also find them off of canva.com and save them to use for PicMonkey. Look forward because I am going to come out with another label video very soon

I used a texture that I downloaded from an Etsy seller and edited the texture in Picmonkey.com

To get this color I used picmonkey.com and just uploaded my own texture to the icon PNG image I found in canva or on Google

For the size i measured the packaging I had. For the ones i made the blank labels I got from office depot and Amazon. Check the discription box it always has where I get everything!

These are the shiny ones but they also have transparent or matte look just reach out to them and they can pretty much do whatever you need

I actually will be doing a video on this very soon but if you go to canva you can search their icons and just change the color to match your brand and download it as a PNG or you can find Google basic image and download and as far as the circle silicone mineral-free sticker I created that as a PNG and downloaded it and then added it to my label I know what else a lot to explain and I get this question often so I will make a video about this very soon to show you guys and demonstrate how you can do this for yourself. No Picmokey ia just the software to design the labels. The material of the labels and printing varies per vendor
