Good Morning!! I am pretty embarrassed that I didn't realize Drogo could escape, but its been a learning experience. We now have his enclosure all set and completely escape proof. I am just happy he is safe and nothing else bad happened. It was a valuable lesson and one I will not allow to happen again. With that said the footage of him creeping around was something from a horror movie. They just are such unusual animals. Regardless, I hope you have a great day! I am looking forward to Thanksgiving even if it will be a mellow one without lots of family this year. We can just think how awesome next year will be! Stay positive people and remember to be grateful! Sending my love to you all! See you tomorrow! Brian

He took his walkabout and then needed a nap... that was alot of walking for a sloth

I believe this is the kind of content that is priceless. You can do your research on the animal, sponge everything you can from everyone who knows anything and the critter can and WILL still open the fancy “locked” door, walk out, and go on tour.

I'm just glad he didn't get hurt. I didn't know that they are so smart. It was the first time he had been out on his own and he found his room again then took himself to bed. What a super smart baby. I'm sure you can test his smarts and teach him a bunch of new things. Try putting a treat in a plastic bowl with a lid at night before you leave and see if he can open the bowl to get the treat. I think your going to find out he's smarter than anyone knows. Just amazing.

You should put a round door knob on the inside of the sloth enclosure! So he can’t pull and turn the handle! I’m also a big fan of the no shave nov on you! Definitely think you should keep it going!!

On a professional stand you say that it’s “inexcusable” but it DOES HAPPEN and people need to know this if they ever want to keep live things locked up. Don’t feel embarrassed, embace these situations and learn/help others learn from them. You’re doing a great job 👏🏻❤️

Yes...and no. The quality is superb, so I'm sure they take a lot of time behind the scenes to edit and produce them. And daily! I could probably sit through hours of it. But then it wouldn't be as special--this way it always keeps you wanting more and there is never anything boring. Happiness is actually associated with the anticipation of reward, rather than the reward itself, if that makes sense.

Drogo looks like a cute little stuffed toy crawling around the floor especially in the sped up footage. Happy to see he got back to his room safe and sound. Also always love seeing how much you care for the health and happiness of all your animals.

It wasn't Jay's fault though..... The kind of lock he has for the cage can be OPENED from the inside even though it's locked on the outside ...Jay locked it like he was supposed to....

Brian, that is hands down the funniest, cutest thing I have EVER SEEN! Salt got REALLY upset that Drogo was roaming around! Pepper pushed Salt's head down at one point like, "Hey, give him a chance...if HIS slow butt can make it, we might have a shot!" 😆 🤣 Don't beat yourself up(and don't let Jay either), ya'll didn't realize the lock issue.
