I am getting some cleaning done, I am making some cornbread jalapeño popper muffins and quick refrigerator pickles, doing laundry, setting up more furniture, and just homemaking in general. Hi Amanda! There is a spray you use on the furniture so you cats won’t scratch your furniture. Also scratching post
I used foil to detur cats from scratching new furniture. Worked like a charm.

I don’t have any cats but We had to get in a habit of shutting some doors in our house so our dog couldn’t get in those rooms. We especially have to keep the bathroom doors closed because our dog loves to jump up and grab the toilet paper and take off running through the house lol

Hi Amanda, you have an absolutely beautiful home❤ We have 2 cats and the younger one does like to scratch... a scratching post with different textures can definitely help, as well as a no scratch spray. They generally make it to be safe on fabric, but tast it to be sure❤

Just curious, did you do sports as a youngster? Or was this a bit of a learning curve becoming a sports mom? My kiddos were competitive swimmers year-round, so I know how hectic it can be. I didn’t play sports at all as a kid. This was all so new to me. But when your child is involved and they put their heart into it so do you lol. So now I’m a full blown hockey mom lol 😊

Try double sided tape where they scratch, that is supposed to deter them.

Get a spray bottle and spray the cats with water if they are doing something wrong 😅 and close your room when you are busy because they will just do it it's natural cat behavior
