I wish I could experience this ride every day of my life. I didn’t want it to end. You can’t really explain it to anyone properly who hasn’t experienced it first hand. The sounds, smells, the sensation of your banshee inhaling and exhaling beneath you, all of it combined is just breathtaking.
Jolie Bellet I got stuck inside the chair when it ended. Yeah,definitely ruined the rest of my day considering it hurt my back a lot.

I'm not a super emotional person but the first few times I went on this ride I cried. Avatar is my favorite movie and this ride is so incredibly immersive, the scents, the wind, and even feeling the ikran breathing under you makes you feel like you're really there. The scenery of line itself is stunning too. Easily the best ride I've ever been on.

Was at Disney the week when they reopened the parks and got to ride this 4 times back to back with no wait. I had a stupid smile on my face every single time and just felt so happy. It's hard to explain how good this ride makes you feel. Definitely never had that kind of reaction on any other ride, it's incredible.

I cried the first time I went on this because of how absolutely amazing and mind bending this was. I’ve never felt so disconnected from reality in my life. It was the most overwhelming thing I’ve ever felt. In all of the best ways. After the cave scene and the music kicked in.... I lost it. That was it for me lol. Such an amazing creation this ride is.

Is this like Soarin with the hang-glider thing and giant imax? I believe it was at Epcot but that was 11 years ago that I did it so who knows if it's even still a thing.
@@metalboy27 soarin is still a thing but recently it was re-done to take you all over the world over famous landmarks as opposed to just random sights in California, the question of if it makes it better or worse depends on who you ask as i perfer the new one but plenty still miss the orange smell (don't worry we got sea and rose smells in the new one to fill the void)

This is by far the best ride at WDW for me. It’s not an adrenaline rush ride by any means, but more of an experience ride. Just amazing. I will wait three hours for this ride. This is such an amazing ride and for some, my wife, an emotional ride. Here’s a tip. If anyone here goes on it, take a second to pile your head out and look to your left and right, up and down. It’s amazing how many people are on this ride at the same time you are.

It was an emotional ride for me too. I could spend my life on it. The sense of freedom is indescribable.
I also did take a sec to look around and see bunch more people below us, that was cool.
Its an experience that ones inner self recognizes, takes many by surprise, very emotional many people cry

I went to Disney in June of 2017, only about 2-3 weeks after this ride opened, and it’s easily my favorite ride in all of Disney. Highly recommended if you ever go to Disney! I’ll be there next June!

yeah update, we obviously didn’t go in 2020, the plan is now 2024 for my 21st bday!
Because the ride experience cinematography is native perspective correct stereoscopic 3D ,, when a capture is viewed one will will see both left and right eye images layered together this makes the image appear somewhat blurred, its crystal clear and defined from the riders perceptive when seen through the 3D glasses , the emotions this immersive augmented reality experience brings up really take many by surprise..
Flight of passage really takes many people by surprise as to just how immersive and internally emotive an experience it really is, breathtaking on many levels some internally recognized.. calling it a "ride" does not really do it justice ..
I recommend this ride to all people. When I went on it Omg it felt so real!!!! There is actual water splashing your face, you can smell the nature and everything!!! 10/10 would recommend! Don’t chicken out on this ride or you will regret not doing it

I remember riding this for the first time and being completely blown away. Avatar was one of my favorite movies. Re watching this makes me want to cry. I miss Pandora so much.
3:04 and onward this music just makes me feel so free and fulfilled. Definitely a trip out of reality and idk how to explain it in the best way. The way it made me feel yall. I just can’t get over it.
Went on this for the first time today and I had every emotion. This ride was so beautiful and immersive. This ride literally brought me to tears.
man this does not do it justice. The wait is so damn long but holy gosh is it worth it. It's such a unique experience.
The 3-4 hour wait is defenetly worth it.
Even if it is a motion simulator
I rode this last summer and I was pretty hesitant to wait even an hour and a half but after having done it it was unbelievable. The realism is amazing and the banshee feels alive. It is the most impressive simulator ever made

I'm from the UK and have been going to Florida on holiday for the last 12 years. I have never in that time been on a ride like this, a ride so immersive and emotional. Videos do not do it justice. You have the ride this for yourself. The worst part is when it ended... or the queue times.
I remember having a rough morning but after going to the ride I was so much better

Rode this ride today for the first time and it was the most Amazing experience I've ever had!!! The scents of the forest,the water against your skin,the breathing that made it feel so real...id go there and wait 10 hours for that experience again
Keep in mind you have to wait at least 210 minutes... enjoy. But I have a few tips! Go as early as possible (opens at 8AM) and you’ll wait an hour, or go after the light/water show at night (must be in line at around 7:45 PM) and you’ll wait 1 hour and a half or 2 hours.
The most underrated ride in the world
I really hope I can go back soon and experience this ride again. I absolutely love it!

Rm16 I went on it 7 times and it was 💪🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥. The first time i went on it, i didnt know what it was about until i got on and i left this world behind....There was scents and winds. Even it felt like that i was falling. I would definetly go again. 100/10🔥💪🏾💯

Just got through doing every ride at Disney and this was by far the best. Ended up riding it three times and noticed little details every time- How each area has a distinct smell and the way the water splashes and breezes are synched or counting out all the other additional riders. It easily trumps all of the new Star Wars rides imo. My only want out of this ride would be: Having a more extreme variant and better 3d glasses or a full 360 VR version.
This ride was so fun and cool u had to step on the numbers to see your match of avatar this ride was emotional I wish it was another part in here

Riding this for the first time was unlike anything I'd ever experienced before. I was so stunned that I walked all the way to the gift shop/ride exit with the 3D visors still in my hands - completely oblivious! 😂😭
The footage just doesn't cut it. You NEED to ride it in person.

Why has it made me so emotional for no reason- it’s one of my favorite rides and I just love the experience but can’t really explain how it is. Truly breathtaking but I question how they made the screens pop up, I rode this ride 4 times and I’d certainly love to get on it. ANY WAY- ANY DAY!! 🏃♀️

hey so im wanting to go on this ride, i chickened out this first time and didn't go, so i was wanting to know if it has a lot of drops, makes you motion sick etc.?
It’s not a roller coaster, it’s a simulator. It only drops maybe 3-4 feet at a time, but paired with the visuals it’s honestly not scary at all. It’s just mesmerizing. Ride it dude don’t be a chicken

I legit cried once it ended, I rode it twice. One of the best things I'll ever experience.
I cannot believe it. I managed to go at December, the busiest time of the year. Book two fast passes for an incredibly popular ride and get on it in under 20 minutes. I must of been incredibly lucky or something to be able to of rode this ride twice.

So beautiful and colorful. The sights and sounds are breathtaking. Did you use a GoPro?, because the quality is so incredibly stable, smooth, and top notch.

It sucks that Universal is pushing simulators so hard but puts out outdated and mediocre experiences. They definitely own the coaster market but they should leave the simulators to Disney. This ride sets the standard of an incredible simulator. Might even consider it the perfect ride
This ride is a visual audio assault on the senses designed to psyche you out into long drops and flips. It doesn't give you any time to really focus on anything in particular except for 2 or 3 moments. The story is weak at best based on a movie from 2009. If you are a person or have children new to roller coasters, claustrophobic, or sensitive to loud sounds and visuals, this is not the ride for you. It's an average of a 2 hour wait in line for 4.5 minutes. While it's a fun ride, it's not worth the wait. Thanks James Cameron.

I can’t ride Star Tours or Millennium Falcon cuz of motion sickness. Even Soarin makes gives me a slight headache but not as bad since it’s not 3D.
