I wanted to say, I have that deer blanket by Abraham Hunter hanging in front of my bedroom closet. I think I'd love to do the diamond painting as well. Also,, I discovered when working on confetti, It is so easy to do when one uses a lazy Susan for holding multiple drills at once and when changing color by color, just turn the lazy Susan. This saves a lot of work and frustration for me. Nice work. Keep it up and thanks for showing us.
I normally fast forward completion videos as I mostly want to see the pictures, but I really enjoyed listening to your review. I love animal designs too. I've actually haven't bought a high quality kit before but I'm now considering getting my first from Diamond Art Studio :)
First, you have some beautiful diamond art. Second, put a tiny piece of dryer sheet in your container or baggie where you have stuck drills and give a shake= Static gone 😊 Bonus, Diamond Art Club insures their drills. If you ever find you are missing some, contact them, and they should send you replacement drills😊. Then you can use the new replacements for another painting too!
Thank you ^_^ sadly the dryer sheet trick never works for me :( I found alcohol swaps work a bit better, but the best trick i feel is blowing into the bag.
Oh my! Lovely collection of artworks, but I think my favorite is the Abraham Hunter painting... stunning! And the bright Owl is unbelievable, thanks for sharing! I will try to get this kit!
Thanks so much ^_^ They are my favourite types of videos to watch, can't wait till more creators have their year in review videos up so i can binge them.
Wow, I didn't expect to watch the whole video in one go, but I did and I really enjoyed it! I loved seeing all the diamond paintings, you made a lot of them in one year. I could never top that haha :) What I liked most was that you paid tribute to loved ones: your grandmother, your dog and the bird. It is so nice to keep their memory alive in this way. The other paintings I really loved were all colorful ones (like Puffygater) and ones that you didn't enjoy painting but turned out so beautifully. I think maybe you don't like to make diamond paintings with lots of colors in just blocking areas? I also really like the one with the deer, so beautiful to see! And the last one (and second haha) with the wolf is really cool, especially because of the sentimentality behind it. Thank you for showing us all this. I now know that I really like these types of videos :) I agree with you on the AI thing. Thank you for making that so clear. I will definitely be careful not to buy an AI 'artwork'. Good evening! Lots of love, Eva
LOL wow I'm amazed you made it through in one sitting. I always watch my videos once I upload them to check there's no issues before they go live, but even I struggled to do it in one sitting haha. I always put the speed up to x2 so I can get through videos quicker. Thanks so much for watching and commenting ^_^ it means a lot to me. I don't think I'll ever manage 55 finishes in a year again.
Hi! I am new to your channel, and enjoyed seeing all your lovely diamond paintings! I have similar tastes, and love paintings of animals. I have ‘Snow Tiger’ in my stash, and want to work on it now that I see how beautiful the green diamonds look in your piece. Happy New Year!
Sadly I did try and get the creases out before hand, I left it under a super heavy box for a week and tried to iron it out before I started working on it but without success. It’s stored away in a folder now.
loved your completions. Great job! You are very talented being able to change what you don't like. I'm going to have to get puffy gator artwork. Love the brilliant colors. Thank you for showing 😊
Puffygator's art is incredible. I need to save up so i can get her paintings from distracted by diamonds. the international shipping is a killer though :( Thank you for watching ^_^
Thank You for ur honest opinions on the kits. I buy a lot of DAC’s. I have run into issues too. In fact I made a review on one of theirs and not only did I not get 100 points I’ve never been asked for a review again
wow really? that's not good, I have noticed on their facebook that the tend to police negative comments quite a lot. hopefully you'll have a better experience in the future.x
I loved the video puffy gator is one of my favs as well I also enjoy cute animals I prefer big cats I have a tiger wall and a big cat wall Patrick Montangue is one of my fav animal artist
I have tried the square drills and find they are more difficult to do than the rounds. How did you learn to conquer to such a beautiful job. I agree i like the square instead of round, it doesn't have the small space in between. Thank you for showing your beautiful pictures. Any advice is appreciated.
squares are definitely more difficult than rounds, i think it helps if it's an image you really love ^_^ I've got two square kits on the go at the moment and I'm starting to feel very burnt out on squares, I'm longing for my next round project
I don’t know if you already know this or not but PixieStyx has a diamond painting RUclips channel called Diamond Painting and Dr. Pepper. Also I’m a first time viewer and I love all your finishes. Thank you for sharing. 🩷🩷🩷
It is important to distinguish between AI art and Digital Art. It may seem to the less tech savvy, that ANY artwork done on a computer would be considered AI, but the difference is “Digital Art” is created by an Artist using a computer to create their artwork and (as you point out), “AI Art” is generated by a Computer Program using a compilation of artwork that has been stolen from various Artists.
I completely agree. and well said. I still sadly have 2 AI diamond paintings in my stash, when I work on them I'll make sure to use them as a teaching experience for others and try and explain in a bit more depth the difference between AI and digital in case some people find it helpful.
Thanks so much. I think one of the key things I notice with AI art is the colour pallet, there's often intense neon colours going on, this is more noticeable with animal/dragon themed kits. with portrait pieces i usually look at the whole selection one artist has available on the site. If the style that the faces are drawn in differ from kit to kit that's usually a sign. traditional and digital artists typically develop a consistent style, so all their artwork with have a similar look and feel. AI doesn't so the style of the face will vary from kit to kit. kind of hard to explain. I'm working on another AI kit at the moment so that i can use it as a way to answer more AI questions and add in a tips and tricks on how to spot it with more images. hopefully that will be helpful, but unlikely to be ready till feb. ^_^
I'm not sure where you're getting the notion that the cheap Amazon kits are "stolen" art because if they were, they'd be subject to incredible legal liability. But, I tell you what, I have seen some pretty fishy stuff with books for sale on Amazon where someone adds their name to a certain book and claims collaboration only to have the author dispute it. So, there may be plenty of "disputed" stuff on Amazon, but it gets worked out pretty quick if there is. But stolen is another thing.
I know :) diamond painting fanatics, however most of the original DIYmoon artists have moved elsewhere. Also diamond painting fanatics uses a different supplier than original DIYmoon shop. And leans heavily towards AI artists.
Hi. So AI art is artwork which is generated by a computer program. To create AI art, thousands of artists had their artwork stolen from DeviantArt/Shutterstock/Google/Facebook etc which was then fed into an AI art program allowing the software to replicate the styles and techniques of thousands of artists and reproduce similar looking artwork in a fraction of the time. Sadly all those artists have not been compensated for any of their stollen artwork which AI programs use. Nor did they give consent for their artwork to be used in the first place. It’s something which is very upsetting to me as it takes decades for traditional and digital artists to master the skills to create beautiful artwork. But AI has now made that skill set useless by stealing it and reproducing it in a fraction of the time and cost. AI has damaged so many artists and has now rendered us affectively obsolete. Especially newer artists who weren’t very established yet. Sorry for the long reply. It’s something I care so deeply about. It has also affected me as an artist and others I know in the industry.
Had to stop watching in the middle of video 😞 so much negativity 🙄 and saying you will do a better job in rendering a painting than a companies is just plain disrespectful 😒
I love completions much more than unboxing videos- thanks for sharing- there’s some good ones there😊
I totally agree! It's so much more fun to watch the finish sparkle ^_^
Oh me too😊
Me too

The snow leopard is stunning
Snow Tiger was my first DAC and it is beautiful. I love Dakota's artwork.
Love foxes ❤ great finishes 🎉 can I steal your fast time to complete more diamond paintings lol only did 18 😂😂
lol okay but you have to take my health issues too ^_^ I'm sure I'll have far fewer finishes this year, I'm running out of small kits in my stash x
So many lovely paintings! It sounds like you had a ton of trouble with DAC canvases over the year.
thank you, lol I did have a few hiccups with DAC. I think my expectations were a bit too high
Oh my! Lovely collection of artworks, but I think my favorite is the Abraham Hunter painting... stunning! And the bright Owl is unbelievable, thanks for sharing! I will try to get this kit!
Thanks so much ^_^ I'm so glad you enjoyed.x
Thank you for sharing your experience and journey in diamond painting so far. I really enjoyed it. I hope you make more of these types of videos.

Love the snow tiger too, I live in Cornwall. Just on TOWTDA and wow , just done my wish list
So many beautiful kits.
Lots of great finishes. Best were Diamond Art Club and Diymoonshop.
Thank you. seeing my diymoonshop paintings again made me feel nostalgic for them and the company. RIP diymoon
Regarding the creases on the partials - perhaps try to get creases out prior to dotting, OR, glue the canvas to a backing board?
Sadly I did try and get the creases out before hand, I left it under a super heavy box for a week and tried to iron it out before I started working on it but without success. It’s stored away in a folder now.

@@CrazyComicLady Hi, how can I recognize AI art? I really want to avoid it! And thank you for the video, I enjoyed it very much.

Negative Nancy. You seemed upset about a lot of stuff in this video. Hard to watch.
