Fredik and Filip are famous in Sweden for having created lots of tv-programs over the years, lots of them are very funny. In the last couple of years they've done more "serious" programs. A long-running quiz-show "Alla mot alla" is on tv right now, and in the movie theatres there's a documentary "Den sista resan", that is this years most watched and talked about movie of the year.
This is one of the most hilarious things ive seen! They actually broadcasted this on national tv.. And at that time it was really controversial to do drugs in tv . Amazing that they warnt canceld hehe😊
I'm one of the few swedes who is pro-cannabis and pro-psychadelics. It would vastly improve our countrys economy if we had the option to buy cannabis and psychadelics legally. Unfortunately that won't happen though because our politicans doesn't know how to think outside of the box.
To be fair it wasn't on the "air" national channels, but on cable/Satellite for the time and it reached only parts of the population. But I saw it at the time. It was not controversial at all, it was just one of many of the "more out there" things that they did. They were more controversial in an earlier series, "Ursäkta Röran", where they pranked people. It was cancelled.
@@Magnus_Loov You are right it was on cable, sorry. I watched it too when it was released, stoned with my friends, and have watched it over and over. But I think it was controversial as fuck from a business / career point of view. These 2 were among the biggest personalities on tv at the time, and they got high on TV. That's illegal in Sweden and the US. Personally idgaf, but as far as the people responsible for channel 5, that's a ballsy move xD
@@TakezoMusashi They didn't get cancelled for it at all. Don't even remember if it was written about that much in the newspapers. "Ursäkta Röran" was a different story. They tricked a celebrity (a model type of girl) to say Nazi references, among other things. It was heavily criticized and the show was cancelled by TV4.
@@Magnus_Loov No they didn't get cancelled at all, nor did I say thery were. I'm saying the deciscion to release that episode was ballsy alright? I know what they did later I'm not talking about that.
wasn't too long ago that people in sweden saw cannabis as being the same as heroin, in fact there was even a politician who shared a fake story about "jesse pinkman" overdosing and dying from cannabis which led to her being fired.
Btw, drugs more potent than tobacco and Alcohol are indeed very illegal in Sweden. And it’s not just the case that politicians are being more conservative than the population either. Despite our reputation for progressiveism, the issue of drugs is one of those things we get very conservative about. Even arguing about decriminalizing the use of drugs, ie giving addicts medical treatment instead of a criminal record and jailtime, is likely to get you quite a few sceptical looks. The reason that this didn’t get as controversial as it might’ve, is likely due to our people not really caring so long as they didn’t do it here in Sweden. People know that it’s legal in some countries, and we’re a pretty ”live and let live” sort of society in regards to other countries, so long as they respect human rights. Also, they’re pretty obviously aware that they’re being complete idiots, so it’s not as if we need to tell them that.
@@n6itisixsixsix I know I phrased it that way, but that’s not really the point of my comment. Alcohol is too much of a hassle to ban, so they heavily regulated it instead. One of the big contributing movements that paved the way for democracy in was the sobriety movement (along with the free church movement, trade unions, ect). Basically, Sweden regulates alcohol far more than most other countries in Europe for historical reasons, and we like it that way (mostly). I didn’t mean to comment on the relative strength of alcohol, because our restrictive alcohol policy only underscores that we don’t really tolerate excessive drug use as a society, for better or for worse.
Yes.. i just feel that if they were open with that they took edibles or didnt care about them in them in the beginning .. then they would enjoy that much more instead

@@MissAntrophy swedish society has very much been stuck in the old american mentality when it comes to drugs sadly.
Sweden is so backwards on cannabis. A big reason of the gang violence is because they let the gangs have monopoly on cannabis ..
