There is a chance that (maybe) she has a unique animation for if an enemy uses an NP with some kind of animation that interupts the enemy np then hits them. Or it could just have a special damage mod against full np bar enemies.
tbf this might not be the real animation. It doesn't look like it did damage, which means it likely wasn't an NP turn. I'm banking on the animation being different when it's up against an opponent's NP.

Look at ushiwaka and void shiki, their np animations are just basically slashing enemies one time, but they do it in visually pleasing way. Bazzette's just seems pretty sad. I do hope its not actually her whole np animation.

@@luciebarathlone730 whatever your standard is just to low (LB 6 do get better in the end after countless filler) the problem is they can do better, but I do see them starting to pick up the slack with the pt 1 "remake", white prism shop and bare minimum pity system, hope they continue on that direction.
I hope it's a way to make you pay for your actions and reverse them. For example. Enemy attacks you. Reverses damage and now you take none and they take your damage instead if you survive like angra. Other example. If they lower your attack it reverse and lowers thier attack. Give the enemy a taste of thier own medicine basically Other ways I think it will work is only on np turns where if you lose to an np you reverse what happened and get another turn basically "skipping" the last turn and over the last charge. Aside that guess at worst just a damage over time thing or
Another fun idea how Fragarach could work is by charging enemy's NP to max but applying NP seal on them. In the next turn when the enemy uses their NP, Bazette will use Fragarach to rewind time and deal multiplied damage (like Angra but without taking any damage) then resets enemy's NP back to zero.

Interestingly I believe this is the first non targeted single target NP in this game. The waiting window made me suspect that it will responds to the first NP enemy throws and hit whoever cast it instead of enemy you're currently lock as target. And I hope it'll negate the NP outright instead of just draining 1 Np bar or something..
I mean, it effectively CANNOT drain 1 NP bar because, if it's supposed to respond to the enemy's NP, their NP bar would already be drained by the time they start using their NP, no? If it drains 1 bar, it should be after "negating it" if it even does.
We have only been shown the activation of fragarach ANSWER, and the use of the non answer version, my guess is her NP will be a counter to boss / enemy servant NPs since the use of fragarach answer need strictly the triumph card of the enemy to fire the sword as a counter, we didn't saw Bazett get attacked in the video that means it wasn't used as a counter. There is a possibility that if the turn you activate fragarach you don't get attacked you automatically fire it... something like what happens with Angra... which would require a set up of targeted taunts to work around or a taunt CE. Still everything is just speculation and we will find out how it actually works in 2 days.
Also my speculation is based mostly in how fragarach works in both the VN lore and the fighting game. Seems a bit tricky but I think she can be useful in certain situations.
I just....really hope that the animation really isn't like going into that cinematic mode and then panning it back and the attack looking something like a buster 1 hit...
Yeah this np animation was a little underwhelming. You have amazing view of her getting ready to attack just to have what looks like an extra attack hit a ember hand.
I kinda hope they showed things out of order Like, the 'doing damage' part is based on a skill that full charges NP and then sets up a counterattack just like Angra and then afterwards you HAVE to use the NP itself and if something has prevented you from this (like an np drain effect) you have Fucked Up, you have Severely Fucked Up And Will Be Having A Bad Time
My guess is that her NP is like with Angra, a ST ver. of it. Angra's NP is delayed type NP, in which he needed to be hit and the damage against him (as long as he didn't die or used guts) will be reflected against the enemy 2x up to 3x depending on NP lv. I think it will be the case with Bazette, but the damage calculation will not depend on the damage she recieved. Instead, she will have a special damage bonus if she was hit by a NP. Because we can see in the line-up that Jeanne is in the party, and she provides invincibility. So Bazette has a definite % of damage and can still damage an enemy (i.e. Rama - Special damage against Demon, or Euryale and Orion(Artemis) - Special damage against Male), unlike Angra who relies on received damage. Also the enemy drops a crit star so she damaged the enemy. Let's face it she is a 5* of course she won't have a damage modifier like Angra but the technicality of Angra's NP is the same as her.

What I think should happen but won't cuz fgo bad is, you use fragarach and it gives an unremovable "set" buff of answerer. The set activates first on the turn where an enemy uses their np/charge and it can go two ways. One: you kill the enemy and the turn proceeds as it would, with Bazzet or any other servant (depending on taunts) getting hit and then ending the turn, or, Two: the enemey hit by fragarach dies and the turn ends all together. Now if an enemy gets hit and doesn't die, I'm assuming it will go like the first option just with three enemies hitting you. As for a Gae Bolg interaction, I don't see any way Fragarach can kill a Cu in FGO and let him use his NP too, since if he dies the turn would end/and if he doesn't it defeats the purpose of the interaction.

lolno. Melusine was still mediocre until Oberon came out. Even with Koyan, she couldn't loop without glitches because her stage 3 third skill has no charge. Face it, it's a worthless np. Bazette's only real worth is being possibly a pure support servant like Koyan, which is highly unlikely since that's reserved for anniversary servants.

And like conditioned little babies, the community laps it up like dozens of comments on this video, going on about how "they've never done that before and they're not about to start now" or "anything Ex-DW did before is a special case, they won't do such a thing again". It's like everyone actively looks for reasons to put down the idea that the developers could do something cool, and it's freaking downer thinking. This despite loads of evidence that there is something more to this particular NP as well. Fragarach canonically does LITTLE damage when countering a non-ultimate attack. The animation we were shown is clearly truncated with a scene cut. Bazette begins by saying "Answerer", yet later when she uses the ordinary looking animation she calls "Fragarach", that is not the normal sequence of how Fragarach works. That last especially shows how much you all actually know about this lore wise while MOUTHING OFF, oh BOOHOO, IT LOOKS SO BAD AND PLAIN. There are tons more examples where the community's "pre-moaning" has been totally off the mark than the opposite. Why do you all think you're being so 'clever' and 'edgy' now taking a piss on it? its beyond underwhelming, its pathetic, and its damage is too fucking low to compensate for how bland it looks, it is pretty on character but as I said; its not nearly porwerful enough, its a single hit, one time activation, no self invul/evade on NP, no healing, and worse of all it cant break HP bars so it wastes a turn by leaving the enemy at 1hp, the fuckers were too lazy to adapt the boss triggers to be counter compatible... this paints a pretty bad picture for lasengle, tbh this is the first 5* servant that I seriously think its not worth the trouble, I love Fate/HA but she is just not worth the money, hell for her NP to actually do more than just tickle it needs NP2, and even then it cant reach any other servant quick single target NP damage, counters just dont work on this game, but they already forgot that no one is using Angra for anything else than the memes...if she were a welfare character then it would be easier to accept, but she is a fucking 5*......
