People really forgot that Kirei had to swindle and cheapshot her. If she was in the original FSN time-line apart from Heracles and Gil, everyone else is getting put on a shirt! Fragarach has so much mystery as well considering it is a divine construct of Manannan MacLir. It's effectively a counter-super that once it lands, it insta-kills because of how it warps causality. Do keep in mind, she had ANGRA and solo'd the war in Hollow Ataraxia pretty much, even beating Saber as well by canceling Excalibur.
So what I’m hearing is Hercules even with all his nine lives dies to this well that seems like high levels of bs but it’s fate so I shouldn’t be surprised
@@lorenbrown7100 Fragarach can only shave off one at a time and remember Herc's God Hand permits him to only die in separate ways so after Fragarach gets used to take Herc out one singular time, they'll still need other ways to take him out. Unless Bazett uses her runes to power up her attacks to even scratch Herc or probably combines multiple Fragarach shots to make a new attack she isn't beating Herc that easy.
Gil dogwalks Bazett unless he uses Ea. which is funny considering Gil's downside is that he almost never goes all out and uses his ultimate moves. so yeah if for some reason Gil decides to use Ea against Bazett then he probably loses
@@lorenbrown7100 According to Hollow Ataraxia's battle hell no. A question I’ve always had is what makes Rin and Sakura so compatible at being the bodies for the gods of their servants forms?, what do they have in common with gods their paired with? Rin being for Ishtar and Ereshkigal. Sakura being for Kama, Kali and so forth. Been loving the content and grind lately btw.👍

Probably mostly faces, but to head cannon, maybe Rin's element coverages and circuit quality make her viable for more options and Sakura was cultivated from childhood to be someone who could easily be possessed without rejection.
Well, from a writing perspective, they took identifiable traits in Rin and Sakura characterization to make various abstractions on for the Psuedo-Servants premised on them. Taking elements from the their mythology and seeing how they be reworked into them. The poem of Inanna's Descent has some express parallels between inanna/Ishtar and her older sister Ereshkigal, which FGO tapped into to represent the duality of Rin - her inner conflict between her sense of duty and inner desires - by literally splitting her characterization between the two characters. They did something similar with Sakura, her idealized femininity forming Parvati - who Durga and Kali are forms of - while her last-boss inner darkness manifests as Kama. Can you make a video explaining more about Grand Servants? Solomon is the definitive Grand Caster because of his clairvoyance. Merlin is considered a Grand Caster candidate along with Gilgamesh because they have clairvoyance as a result. Hercules as a Saber provided he uses Marmyadose is possible considering the sword is stated to be leagues above Excalibur which is already one of the verse's top weapons but IMO Grand Saber could be either the true Sasaki Kojiro or Musashi Miyamoto considering they are regarded as being the best swordsmen in the world. I mean even Grand Assassin changed roles as Hassan is no longer the Grand Assassin and it's now Tezcatlipoca, a Mesoamerican Chief Deity originally intended to be Grand Berserker so there's a lot to unpack.
@@joshcooper467 so anyone with clairvoyance can be considered as Caster candidate? Merlin hasn't really shown any feat of great abilities or power, same with Solomon, the only thing he did was canceling Goetia's Phantasm, so i really don't understand what really makes someone Grand and how is the process
@@Kero___From my understanding, not everyone with high clairvoyance can be a grand caster, but anyone who has great skill in magecraft with enough time will develop high clairvoyance. We saw little about Salomon's abilities in practice but we can assume that he can do almost everything that Goetia achieved. Even if he cannot do it, we can understand that he is a servant of abnormal strength by knowing that he ended a holy grail war by himself summoned as a normal servant. We must remember that in the lore we are told that generally the assassin class and the Caster class are the weakest in general. For Merlin, apart from being a master of the sword, keeping Tiamat's true body asleep and at the same time fighting with other servants, being able to eject himself in the invocation of Gilgamesh, I can't think of many things. Great video again, really getting into the details of a character that isn't as explored as some of the others. I have wondered about how bazett or family has made those fragarach bullets, from my understanding the family has a virus or pathogen that allows for them to use it but is it the same case for how they make new fragarach bullets? again great video.
Thanks for this. Does the counter retro-actively prevent the trigger, or does it just trigger before the trigger connects with the users? I've heard some conflicting accounts. Also, is it necessary that the trigger would be fatal? If someone launched a ranged attack, could the attack still kill her, after the counter hits?
It's Retroactive, it basically rewrites causality so it hits before the opponent's trump card was used, making so it never had the opportunity to be used in the first place, it's why when she killed Saber who Fired excalibur, the Blast didn't immediately disintegrate her as well. It's also why Gae Bolg is able to contend with it, Gae Blogs curse reverses causality to make it so cause and effect are swapped, the heart was basically always in the state of being pieced once the curse was activated, so when Fragarach alters causality to hit first, the heart is still in the state of being pieced, basically a Double Kill
I have a question: In Prisma Illya, how would Bazett have captured ALL the Class-Cards? We know she got Archer and Lancer. And I can see her getting Assassin, Rider, and Saber with varying levels of difficulty. But I'm having a hard time seeing her being able to take Caster and Berserker. You mentioned she'd have trouble with all-around Casters. And for Berserker, Fragarach could only take 1 life. What about the other 11?
Ooh ok Now I understand Not that I'm salty when Shirou lost I didn't expect him to win either since I know that you don't do BS plot armor I know for sure that she is way stronger and more experienced than him But I'm just confused about how Fragrach can kill Shirou before UBW was activated I just figured that it works when you tried to hit her directly But it seems she can use it as the opponent is still charging their move In any case, now I'm enlightened Thanks for the video explanation
I think their Trump card activate, then the counter will happen but it would change the course of time to activate first, killing Shiro and turning his Trump card to never activate in the first place in the eyes of time.
yeah as long as it's a trump card She could also fire it off against Heracles' God Hand - and it didn't need any condition in that case because God Hand was always active In theory it should also be able to counter Avalon
You know I alway ask and find myself this question is it stronger Fragarach then Sword of Rupture es? We know gilgamesh is no joke and the king of king. But is it Es a anti field world end wpn too. Anyway I'm just over thinking 🤔 great video..!!!
Like with most things, Fate/ it depends on the situation Fragarach is one of the ultimate counters in the verse able to alter Cause and Effect itself so that it destroys the heart before the opponents attack is launched (even though the activation conditions are the opposite). It does have the drawback though of unless the Attack incoming is THEIR STRONGEST you cannot activate Fragarach. It would probably be effective against Gilgamesh (if Gilgamesh didnt use another NP to stop someone who has Cause and Effect manipulation abilites (Like Cu who fought him for several hours before falling to him)). Ea is powerful because it is a record of the World before Genesis and tears apart the very Textures of the world on usage (because he is a Servant its nerfed by the Holy Grail System and Counterforce). What do you consider more powerful? Gilgamesh's Wide Area Destruction or a Oneshot Ability which could lead to your own death if used at the wrong time.
what if someone lies about their trump card? like is Fragarach sentient? what about someone like no name assassin who technically every Zabaniya is one? or diarmuid who's spears are both NP's but are more like passive or status effect NPS?
More on the setient side considering her bloodline authority. I think it knows when Bazetts life is actually being threatened thereby activating its effect
Honestly kirei did bazett dirty, but at the same time if he didn't do what he did and she was teamed up WITH cu? She realistically could have just slaughtered everyone except MAYBE Medea.
And Heracles, because for Herc his Godhand only lets him die to an attack once so Fragarach would only take 1 life, and she might be strong, but she ain't Herc strong, Tsiah even mentions that.
@@serenitysilvermoon she doesn't have to fight Heracles. All she has to do is make a beeline for illya, off her and Heracles can't survive without her magical energy. And I know she can beat illya because she's arguably stronger in Prisma and bazett beats the breaks off her
Can anyone help me with the fate stay night ultimate edition, I downloaded from this channel but every time I get to the opening after saber is revealed it loads me back to the menu and I can’t get past that, please help me
So I've never gone through Ataraxia, but if I am understanding correctly, her NP auto activates to counter someone else's special attack. But I am not clear on a couple of things. Let's consider Artoria for instance. I can't imagine Bezett being able to challenge a top tier servant like Artoria in melee enough to even prompt Artoria to use a trump card. Unless standard swings with invisible air count as a trump card simply due to a saber using their powerful signature weapon. Or unless Bazett really is just able to rival Artoria in melee with nothing more than magic fists. Am I just not understanding how easy it is for Bazett to activate this instant kill? Like, does she not need to be Artoria's target? Perhaps she can activate it just from Artoria going all out in her vicinity? Or can she use it along with anyone using a special attack, effectively pairing it with her own servants attack? Maybe I am just underestimating Bazett, but I don't see her NP coming into play against a top tier melee servant 9 times out of 10 even if her enemy is unaware of it. For instance, after Soichiro surprises Artoria and throws her around, we know that wouldn't work a second time, but I don't imagine Artoria's response to that would be to use a trump card, she would just need to take him seriously. I am just wondering if I am missing something. Maybe I just need to watch that Don't Sleep video.
Hey Tsiah I'm an up incoming youtuber who is trying to powerscale rin and other fate characters could you tell me where you find your scans and statements from Nasu
So when fighting Bazett it’s either: Use your Strongest Attack/Ability and you die. Don’t use your strongest attack. But you have to deal with a Woman that has deadly HANDS! 🙌 Or 3rd option, have a weapon or ability that similar to hers. So it’s at least ends in a double KO. Huh all in all it does sound like a perfect weapon with NOT that many flaws. Hmmm. Here’s a question 🙋♂️. Does it eliminate healing/regeneration factors? What about if the enemy is immortal or can’t be killed? Imagine you could still a chance right?

If the condition to use Fragarach is just for your opponent to use there best move does that mean Fragarach could work if you threw a punch? Like not a normal one but a haymaker hard one?
No cause I said by cu in HA "That's all. If I don't use my lance, Fragarach is just gonna be a low-level Noble Phantasm. Of course, if she keeps hitting me with it, the "No Noble Phantasm" policy might become a tad annoying” Pretty sure Fragarach will only react to Noble Phantasm-level attacks and it's stupid to think if you brought a shotgun Fragarach would just activate “Thus, to defeat Bazett, one must not use one's own Noble Phantasm. If you restrain your own trump card, Fragarach's power will be effectively halved.” Most servants could easily dog Bazett by just not using their NP and this video is missing context that Bazett HAS to put them in a position to use their Noble Phantasm
EMIYA/Shirou if partner with Bazett is practically scary. EMIYA/Shirou projection can fix limit ammunition. And unlike Angra who is super weak and annoying top tier servant at best, UBW can bait target trump card much better than Angra skill. Worse, if EMIYA/Shirou can use them himself...
@@TsiahIV just state possibility... I like both character a lot and this is a something on my head for along time. I even have this in my head in my Aprocrypha when Emiya is summon as Berserker for Caules instead. I don't want to change Chiron and Achilles dynamic so no Archer. And He Fragarach Karna XD
He'd still have to learn the ins and outs of the weapon because in exchange for it being able to ONLY be used when the opponent uses their best techniques, it practically guarantees a kill by rewinding and shifting causality to always strike first. The only targets Fragarach won't work on is targets that are immortal or don't have a heart/spiritual core for the insta-kill effect. It still damages them so don't get it twisted.
It wouldn't even work. As I mentioned in video, this is a blessing from the gods to her bloodline. To somebody like Shirou , it would just be an empty ball.
I’m surprise Gil can’t dodge it since he can dodge light speed arrows still can’t believe Gil goes down to it guess that magical armor is the only thing that protects him
It's immediate. If Gil were to use Gate of Babylon for example, it's his trump card. If Bazett launched Fragarach, cause and effect shifts to where Gil's chest and spiritual core gets obliterated by the conceptual weapon and if he doesn't have anything to defend against it, he loses. Even worse yet if you consider him deciding to use Ea, that's a big glaring signal for Bazett to just use Fragarach and kill him then and there because she did kill Saber when she tried Excalibur.
@@flygonkerel781 Thanks for clarifying, because we have seen her actively dodge projectile blasts from Gate of Babylon in Kaleid even if it was Shadow Gil, the feat still stands. Plus if she is worse for wear, Bazett can revive herself with runes.

But I'm just confused about how Fragrach can kill Shirou before UBW was activated
I just figured that it works when you tried to hit her directly
But it seems she can use it as the opponent is still charging their move
In any case, now I'm enlightened
Thanks for the video explanation
I think their Trump card activate, then the counter will happen but it would change the course of time to activate first, killing Shiro and turning his Trump card to never activate in the first place in the eyes of time.
yeah as long as it's a trump card
She could also fire it off against Heracles' God Hand - and it didn't need any condition in that case because God Hand was always active
In theory it should also be able to counter Avalon
Fight back.
And I know she can beat illya because she's arguably stronger in Prisma and bazett beats the breaks off her
Can anyone help me with the fate stay night ultimate edition, I downloaded from this channel but every time I get to the opening after saber is revealed it loads me back to the menu and I can’t get past that, please help me
How close could a normal person in the nasuverse get to using any supernatural abilities with out outside help?
Tsumukari Muramasa vs Fragarach?
Aside from Fragarach and the Godfelling Crossbow, what are other noble phantasms that can be used by masters?
No wonder that, in Capsule Servant, Bazett and Shirou teamed up, they beat both Cu and Gilgamesh easily.
Hey Tsiah I'm an up incoming youtuber who is trying to powerscale rin and other fate characters could you tell me where you find your scans and statements from Nasu
What is the soundtrack in the video it’s incredible
So when fighting Bazett it’s either: Use your Strongest Attack/Ability and you die.
Don’t use your strongest attack. But you have to deal with a Woman that has deadly HANDS! 🙌
Or 3rd option, have a weapon or ability that similar to hers.
If the person can survive without a heart, they will survive but the Trump card stop, so they have to fight it out
What would happen if fragarach and Gils Ea clashed? Would Ea neutralize the phantasm?
Ea and fragarach is a weapon thay manipulate causality, tjis sort of battle goes to the person with the BETTER causality manipulation
Would army based tactics be best against fragarach or would bazett angle it to wipe out most of them?
Attempt 51 of me asking you to do a video on white wolf's world of darkness.
I honestly just forgot that Bazett was HIM.

If the condition to use Fragarach is just for your opponent to use there best move does that mean Fragarach could work if you threw a punch? Like not a normal one but a haymaker hard one?
Yes if it’s the best you can do then ya
No cause I said by cu in HA
"That's all. If I don't use my lance, Fragarach is just gonna be a low-level Noble Phantasm. Of course, if she keeps hitting me with it, the "No Noble Phantasm" policy might become a tad annoying”
Pretty sure Fragarach will only react to Noble Phantasm-level attacks and it's stupid to think if you brought a shotgun Fragarach would just activate
“Thus, to defeat Bazett, one must not use one's own Noble Phantasm.
If you restrain your own trump card, Fragarach's power will be effectively halved.”
Most servants could easily dog Bazett by just not using their NP and this video is missing context that Bazett HAS to put them in a position to use their Noble Phantasm
@@8ddokkan462 ohh that makes a lot of sense so if the move isn’t strong enough it just won’t prock ok
Would origin bullet cancel it?
Among the Nasuverse protagonist, I think Aoko, Shiki and Iori can contend against Bazett
Shiki cannot lol, void? Yes, Tohno absolutely can't either, aoko? Maybe, iori? Dude is dead thousands of years ago already
@@emiyashirou1858 well, this is a versus, not making all alive protagonist meet and start killing each other

Nothing. They dont have the bloodline right to use it like she does
@@TsiahIV ah the bloodline lock
Eh Ado Edem would have killed everyone before they could even react
EMIYA/Shirou if partner with Bazett is practically scary. EMIYA/Shirou projection can fix limit ammunition. And unlike Angra who is super weak and annoying top tier servant at best, UBW can bait target trump card much better than Angra skill. Worse, if EMIYA/Shirou can use them himself...
watch your mouth when you address the goat. they do just fine without any emiya involved
@@TsiahIV just state possibility... I like both character a lot and this is a something on my head for along time. I even have this in my head in my Aprocrypha when Emiya is summon as Berserker for Caules instead. I don't want to change Chiron and Achilles dynamic so no Archer. And He Fragarach Karna XD
just run away
Depends. Did you activate your Trump card or are you just running away?
@@jaimegonzalezjr2169 just running away from the country and the holy grial war
@luigiminardo9672 I not quite sure you can just run away from the grail war as the church will hunt you down
If shirou get his hands on this he becomes a god???
@@joshcooper467 Ea is gils trump card. the gate is his basic utility
@@flygonkerel781 Thanks for clarifying, because we have seen her actively dodge projectile blasts from Gate of Babylon in Kaleid even if it was Shadow Gil, the feat still stands. Plus if she is worse for wear, Bazett can revive herself with runes.
