I order all my seafood from them. We’re an organic farm, ranch and dairy. I’ll order occasional things if their is a big sale, if it’s a good comparison to products we offer. I also order the cones and ice cream sandwiches for our employees to snack on. They used to be a bit more folksy, which I loved, but as a direct marketer, I get having to straddle different segments of consumers. For decades, my driver would look over what we had on hand, stock us up, fill the amount out on the check, and stick the receipt on the freezer. I know about commodities, the grades of ingredients available etc… they are known for dealing in things only a very high end restaurant would buy. I really hope they keep the quality up. They are owned by private equity now, that usually means things will backslide. From what my driver tells me, many corporate whiz bangs have come and gone over the years with big ideas about cutting corners, and the Schwans heirs themselves would not stand for it. Everything Wall Street touches is only about the numbers. The faceless corporste number crunchers call the shots.

I appreciate this video. I've been curious about Schwan's since I had a neighbor year's ago who used to have the truck dropping off an order regularly. I always heard that their food was good, but a bit pricey, compared with the grocery store. (This was long before grocery delivery was common, so that wasn't a completely fair comparison at the time.) This video seems to confirm the former, while a quick look at their website confirmed the latter. I can see how it would be a good choice for some families. I'll probably stick with pick up and delivery from my local grocery store, because I want my budget to go as far as possible, but I can totally understand why Schwan's would be better for some households.
This company rocks. Been using them for over 35 years now. Some of their items have fallen off quality wise but most their items are pretty good. I don’t like how they changed up out delivery day also. But driver is friendly and know them on a personal basis. The food is always high quality!
They sold out to koreans. No longer an american company. Boycott. They are traitors to the people of USA. Why your country puts up with this beyond me.
No there are not a lot of meatballs in the meatball pasta bake however I always suggest to my customers to also in addition to that particular product to purchase the Italian style meatballs and add them. :-)
Have you ever found an alternative way besides instructions on packaging for the Raw breaded chicken tenderloins in the oven Haven't found anything online yet. Not sure if apprehended oven thebsame as deep fried temperature of 360 first minutes would cook the. properly or not. Mom can't stand at her stove for very long as 74 yrs old she thought they were fully cooked and could be fixed in the oven when she bought them didn't have a catalog at the time just order over the phone from looking at items online. Thanks for any alternative ways of any. we don't have a deep fryer between our 2 houses.
Have you tried any of the frozen burritos in the oven I don't like microwaved burrito "yuck" much better in the oven. I am planning on fixing the breakfast burritos in the oven soon. Like in a bit no instructions for it on their box but general frozen burrito instructions online are 450 degree oven wrapped on foil for like 35 to 40 minutes. I hope they turn out alright
Those singleserve mini Angus cheeseburgers are so good. I used to be so addicted to those. But I would also buy the fully cooked bacon and put some 🥓 on them.
Not bad burned on the burgers looks good to me. I well done burnt no that didn't look burnt to me I don't like burnt charcoal tasting foods it didn't look black burnt it looked more golden brown just from what I can tell on the video.

Garlic herb shrimp is my all time favorite mixed with the bow tie pasta. Heat in a little olive oil and it's amazing!

I actually did it on 400 degrees for 40 mins and let set long enough to eat without burning my mouth about 2 to 5 mins or 10 will usually do.

No, I haven't, I typically get the big bags of meatballs at Sam's club or Bjs. I really haven't found much we don't like though!
