Stop blaming only two people when ALL of them are evil, corrupt, bribe takers.

There are also many people who don't affiliate with any party, but put logic first and agree with certain perspectives of both, which is the proper mindset of a healthy individual. Nobody should be a sheep for either party.

Like a lot of other things in American politics (see: filibuster, electoral college), it relied upon everyone involved recognising the spirit of the law and not being blatantly partisan.
