The Canucks switched JT Miller to Center 4 seasons ago, the offence came pretty quickly with a 99 pt season the next year. But he was heavily criticized when the D side of the game took a bit to come. He's a 2-way monster now. Its no guarantee, but it shows that a player with that kinda talent can figure it out if there is a bit of patience.
Playing on your off-side can be awesome for Goal-scorers (looking here at the Russian school of winging)--I think RW could be viewed as an upgrade for Robertson. He needs to just keep his defensive game clean.
The 3 year wait period for HoF intronisation is not a big deal honestly. I don't think it should be waived, it's not an egregious amount of time, especially to someone already retired. Tyat being said, it's not a hill I'm willing to die on. If it has been waived for a player like Beliveau, I think it's more than legitimate to waive it for Jagr.

He controls play at a high level and is one of the best defensive players in the league. Seider looked like he was on his way to being that after a strong rookie year, but has regressed the past two years. I get he plays the hardest minutes in the league (which Wings fans love to point out), but the last two years he’s been getting cooked defensively. I feel like they are either greatly underestimating McAvoy or overrating Seider, maybe a bit of both. I expect Seider to grow into this deal, but if he has another year like the last two seasons will it be fair to ask if he’s just a good player and not elite? Edit: Like Jesse said there isn’t 12 Dmen in the NHL who are better then Seider. What? Dahlin is also a top10 Dman in the league. When did Seider become as good as Dahlin?

Not enough NHL caliber players. The 16-17(.293)Avs were the worst of the cap era. It was historically bad, and thought it may never be matched. Since then we’ve added 2 teams to the league. Last years Sharks(.287)and the 19-20 Red Wings(.275)were worse by point percentage. The worse teams in the league are going from bad to horrific and comprised of 6-10 AHL caliber players. Quit expanding.
