Everyone is wrong here. There is a better live version floating around that was from the Live on Letterman performance on September 21st, 2011, but it has disappeared. Check the internet, everyone raves about how great it sounds. Everything in that one is perfect. The crescendo of the din of guitars is tremendous, and the guitars sound out of this world. I get goosebumps every time I listen to it. Downloaded it into an old MacBook I used to have, and I can’t listen to it anymore. Still waiting for a kind soul to upload it again.
Best version. Love the way the reverb takes over.
Hands down the best version of this song.
This is the best version
