Marvelous as always. Just so good. One has to listen to EVERY sentence. There is critical information in your narration. See how he constructed that chair from a cuboid form?
Dan! You are an amazing artist and explain thing so well. After watching these videos I can "see" differently when I'm drawing. I understand the difference between the 2&3 point perspectives. Thank you so much for taking the time to do these videos.
Ik this comment 2 years old 😂but for 3 point im hella confused cuz when i see his so call simple 3 point i see 2 point only not the 3 i cant see the lines in my head if u undertand what i mean
thanks, very helpful. A question - you mentioned you estimate the VP outside the page/view... any trick or tips for this? each time my VP is out of the view Im ending up with non consistent conversion which is visible to a non artist eye
I assume "non-consistent conversion" means the perspective is off. If that's the case, my solution has always been to trust my vision and make changes until it's right. If a non-artist can see the problem, you should see it, too. Make changes. Draw with a pencil in one hand and an eraser in the other.
so all of the vertical lines of the prisms are always perpendicular to the horizon line, whereas the facades of the prisms converge to the vanishing points, is this correct? -very new to this, don't know if my terminology/what I'm trying to convey makes sense
Which book do you learn the technique from? I’ve read the famous one with white and orange cover but it doesn’t have the info you mentioned in terms of 3 point perspective
can i ask? if you use all 3 types of perspective (1,2,3) and you use it in 1 frame/ picture, how do you maintain the distortion so it doesn't look out of place / weird ?
Great info Dan, What about telling subscribers how to calculate Exactly how to pin point the location of vanishing points instead of arbitrary points. Thanks
117th!!!! Clicked as soon as I saw it! Are you going to be doing more DTC? I really like having them in the background while I draw. I'm definitely going to be trying out the 3 point perspective soon thanks for being awesome!
Thanks a lot for This series. Its very well made and very understandable. Also for a beginner like myself. Have a quostion: Is it not true that principally any and every cube (prabaly all 3d shapes) can only be drawn with a 3 point perspective. Probably i am nuts, but two same sized lines placed in different locations in 3d space ought to have different sizes. I don't know ... 🥵 😀
I really don't think about a horizon line or vanishing points when I draw. I just trust my vision, though I did have to learn the rules, so I may be using them subconsciously. I do know I break the rules in some situations, usually because I want something to look the way people see it, the way they expect it to be, rather than the way the rules say it should look. I just don't want to think about such things when I'm drawing. It just needs to look right to me, match the vision in my mind, even when I'm drawing a hyperrealistic landscape.
these type of videos should get more views and likes.
Agreed. Incredibly valuable.
انا اشهد
بس فيه قاعدة,كل ما كان الشي مفيد وقيم كل ما قل الناس اللي يشوفونه
nah people like other pros doing good stuff than they do good stuff(too much work)

Dude the last drawing, my heart... i never thought of that before (well i am totally new to this field).. :D

thanks a lot for the clarity. This series of videos is so straightforward without skipping information and that´s quite hard to find online.
thank you for this kind of content.I really do mean it.
Dude I started watching your perspective video last night your explanations are amazing thank you.
thanks, very helpful.

love your realistic drawings your so good
Thanks for your time and effort! Much love from 🇺🇸🤘🏼
Hi. Thank you for your lessons really clear and helpful. Would you please teach how to do shadow on cylinder?
You just get better Dan awesome
“So that is a SIMPLE example of 3 points perspective drawing”
simple indeed...
Love your tutorials, they’re always helpful 😁
Yes, time to learn!
this video deserve much more views and likes😫
Awesome tutorial👌

Great video. The music was also really good, what song is that?
Amazing!

Yess I've been struggling with this!

Will you do a 4 point perspective?
Thanks for your videos. Please can you draw the actual lines in real time? This would be most helpful
If you create a second tier on your Patreon. I'll definitely be that one
Wow
I asking this again, what lead grade to you use in you pencil¿
ماشاء الله
"so this is the example of the 3 point perspective"
me: *blink*
what did just happened?
Do you plan covering spherical perspective ?
Pretty much everything I can!
There is that one person who dislikes a good vid
what is the music in the background
last draw😲😲
Hello to everyone doing your dt homework😂🤧

Its too fast. Can you do this for beginners?
Does anyone know what pencil he uses?
Uni Korutoga. It rotates the lead when you lift it so the point self-sharpens.
bruh my 3 point cube looks the exact same as 2 point
You idiot
Music?
Second‼️‼️ ✌🏽
Thank God we have only 3 perspectives... Its like 3D or something 🤔
tis so confusing
first
Very confusing
