Just tried this Solo method. It's quite good! The 2d6 is definitely an improvement, and it only takes a couple of turns to learn how to count across the market, either up or down as is appropriate, starting at 7. It's easier then you think. Do try to keep track of your place in the turn order. It can get difficult, with everything else your brain has to handle. Props to Ricky for making as few mistakes as he did while filming this. Diaz doesn't really have a win condition, so your eventually going to win. He just puts up a "persistent resistance" for you to struggle against. And it can be quite a resistance. I won through Revolution points, and between Diaz knocking down some partners, sacking some enterprises, forcing me to retreat some troops, and gaining a couple of Revolution points of his own, it was a tough climb. Go ahead a let Diaz have Outrage, trying to beat him there is going to be incredibly difficult. Especially since most Orange and Black cards have Victim awarded Outrage points on them, it can be particularly difficult to keep Diaz's Outrage down.
You're quite good with Phil Eklund's games! You've encouraged me to pursue BIOS Megafauna as well as Greenland. If I didn't already have it, you'd be persuading me to nab Pax as well! Think you may give Pax Pamir a shot, too?
Nice play-through there friend :) Think this has gotten me to get this game. Just a small thing though, at 2:57 I think you forgot to change the regime to Martial Law. Or does that not happen when it is Diaz?
Remember Headlines can be played either way up, either for no effect or for the regime change; Diaz will always choose 'no effect' unless it changes the regime to PaxP. Good question ! Best wishes, Rick
Ricky Royal Ah okay then. Thanks for the quick answer. :) And I forgot about that in the first part because when I started watching this it was very late last night. :D
Another awesome run-through, keep 'em coming!
"because it doesn't put me in jail. . ." As good a reason as any, lol.

+TyphoidBryan Definitely... it's on my birthday list :)
16:39 If you are Jailed during your turn, you keep your 3 actions for that turn.
this is true; Jailed applies at the END of your turn ;)
