You can kind of add other accounts by going to manage then people then invite and you can let other people access your hive and control it and then they can do the same with you so you can control theirs. That'll save that customer logging in & out all the time 🙌

Great video as always mate. But I spent the first 15 mins wondering why on earth you would go for Hive and not Nest?🤮 Glad you finally put my mind at rest 👍
I have fallen out with Hives as recently 3 I have fitted have had very very poor range. 1 of them was in a bungalow and wad about 6 meters away from the receiver and kept loosing signal... I spoke with hive and they said I needed a booster. So I paid for a booster at £30 through hive and they sent me the wrong item.. I paid for another booster at another £30.. customer wasn't very happy at how temperamental it was loosing signal all the time.
i might be an idiot but i don't know how to program a nest with a solid block of time. just those 15 minute interval points where you set a target temp. what am i missing
@@cliveramsbotty6077 I normally just set a start target temp and an end target temp so it will maintain that set temperature until the next timestamp (hope that makes sense?)
did they specify hive? or did you? and if it was you why? ok i got to the end of video. nest have im told by a customer were he had to have 2 accounts. one for europe and one for north america. its 1 account now. so he can use cctv etc as well as the heating system.
Thank you for watching, who else "loves" working in tight loft spaces? 😂 Don't forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE 🙏🏽
Top job Chirag. ❤. The wiring was pretty well explained. Thank you
Thanks Arif
Go on CP! Thanks for the wiring tutorial. Excellent and well worth the claustrophobic experience.
Glad you enjoyed 👊🏾

I think there's a 4th generation out now 👍🏾
Will the hive multizone work? That can be configured with up to three zones

That looked quite uncomfortable
It was extremely uncomfortable especially for 6ft2 guy like me 😂
Forget last comment. When I googled it said works on three zones but after investigation got three modes. Crap
Yeah you'll need separate receivers/stats for each zone
