I am brand new to pin trading/ collecting. Thank you for encouraging people to trade authentic pins! The only way to find good pins is to keep putting on good pins. I have often put on nicer pins on the boards despite people telling me not to because I personally have had some great board finds and I feel like it’s so great to know that a pin you leave behind will make someone’s day.
That’s an awesome way to look at it! We also try to leave good pins on the board, it makes it fun! We know how it is looking at boards full of scrappers all day ☹️ thanks for watching!!
I have no knowledge about pin trading and I don’t even like Disneyland except I went a lot in childhood…. But I really like you guys, such gentle and kind energy, wholesome. Mom and dad energy for real. Subscribed and liked. ❤
Haven't subscribed all that long but I have to say the editing has been amazing Adam! I'll be heading to Disneyland in March so hoping to use some of these tips!
Such a great video--please continue to give tips for beginners! I wish I had known about these guidelines when I first started trading. I still sometimes make trades that I am not 100 percent happy about because sometimes I feel pressure to trade, so your reminder was so good. Saying no is totally fine! And I always tell people if they don't see anything in my book "no worries! It's all good!" :-) Jaz, I hope to see your cat collection someday! I collect cats as well :-) mostly Marie, Lucifer and Si Am.
Identifying scrappers can be a little tricky sometimes! We’re hoping to drop some more tips videos to help with this. Saying no is definitely always ok! Jaz’s cats collection has definitely grown lol she’ll need to show it soon. Thank you so much for watching.
Last week I went to Disneyland for the first time since I was a kid over 25 years ago! This is exactly the kind of video I need. I have collected enamel pins for many years, but not Disney pins, and I haven't done trading. My anxiety is about being able to identify authentic pins on the cast boards in the moment. I did leave a mystery box pin I bought behind on a board just because I wanted someone to be really happy they found it. :) It was at Paradise Pier and it was gone before I even left the hotel, so I hope someone loved the Vision pin. Haha.
My next trip is in October, we booked a new trip as soon as we came home. That's how much fun we had, haha. The Tomorrow Landing tip is great! Thanks so much. And omfg that Dinah pin is so cute.
I can't believe how convenient this video is for me. I just recently got into/learned about disney pin trading at first I was just trying to collect all the club penguin puffles (those uk ones are hard af to find lol) but I expected this video to be like years old then to see its from yesterday?! Cant ask for better timing lol. Awesome content and I'd definitely like to know more tricks on identifying fakes.
Your comments at the end remind me of how I got started in pin trading. It was back in the '90s and our next door neighbor was a pin trading fanatic. That was back before pin trading was a big thing. She showed us her small collection and that christmas we got a small package of pins. We didn't think much of it until 2000 when the millenium collection hit the Disney Stores and pin trading nights got started. Then it got into the parks and it went nuts. We are still pintrading. I loved seeing that Dwarves pin from the Disney Store in your pinfolio. I bought a bunch of those at a yard sale a long time ago and I still have a few. We have discovered pinfolios and love them. Makes it so easy to carry your pins. Our private collection consists of about 10 of the large Disney pin bags. Each bag is a different collection. We collect Haunted Mansion, Nightmare before Christmas, Pirates, Villians, Park Attractions (I think we have at least 1 of every park attraction both historical and current.). several bags of duplicates for trade We still need the DCA pins, and Marvel. It is insane how much we've spent over the years but I look at it as an investment.
We are on the other coast so we don't see the Disneyland D pins. Do you find that they are authentic pins is you see them or have you found scrappers with them. Thanks for your time
Awesome video! That 100 year churro is my favorite!! My son would of went crazy for those zootopia pins when we were there lol he finished the set now 😊 Part 2 sounds awesome!
Thank you so much ! Can you trade loungefly blind box pins with the ones on the ear boards in Disney? I believe you said with other traders, but I'm not sure about the boards in the store.
We have had no issues with Loungefly pins but some cast members might be pickier than others. To our understanding, as long as it’s a disney licensed pin (Loungefly pins are) you should be good!
I'm a cast member in adventureland usually I'm at tiki juice bar or fruit cart across from jungle cruise. I get allot of fake trade sadly but I do get good trades.
I've been seeing all of these Mickey pins with different colors (silhouette of the whole body in the video), are these real? I really like them and have recently just started with pins :)
Hi, I love watching your pin trading videos. I am new to pin trading and am having a hard time finding authentic pins for a good price. Can you get authentic pins for $2???? If so, where? I want to take authentic pins to the parks but it's just a fun hobby for me so I don't want to spend a ton of money - I just want to trade.
Yes Frank & Sons sells authentic trader pins starting at $2. My D Pins also sells $3 and $5 board trader pins. They’re located in Anaheim by Disneyland
Thanks for the SO!! The Disney Showcase, I think it’s a hit and miss. Sometimes they have it, sometimes they don’t. Like the Market Place. Idk😅 Great video btw!! Keep ‘em coming!!
Thanks so much for all the tips! I’m just getting into pin trading, and these tips really helped! I really like that Tomorrowlanding tip! Can’t wait to go to the parks and trade !
What websites or pages did you recommend for inexpensive $3 pins? The main street vehicle horn sounded and I couldn't hear the first one. Are they on Instagram or Facebook? Or their own website? Thank you!
Sorry about that! The 2 we mentioned were My D Pins and Frank & Sons. My D Pins is a shop in Anaheim @mydpins they have $3, $5, & $8 pin board. Frank & Sons is located in City of Industry and is a collectible show open a few days a week with different vendors. There’s a bunch of pin vendors in there selling fairly cheap authentic pins! Hope this helps
The 2 places we mentioned were My D Pins & Frank & Sons. My D Pins is a store in Anaheim, they also have an Instagram @Mydpins. They do live sales every Monday. Frank & Sons is a giant collectibles show in City of Industry with different vendors and a bunch of them sell traded pins. Hope that helps!

Thank you so much ! Can you trade loungefly blind box pins with the ones on the ear boards in Disney? I believe you said with other traders, but I'm not sure about the boards in the store.
Yes you can--as long as they are licensed Disney pins, you can go for it!
We have had no issues with Loungefly pins but some cast members might be pickier than others. To our understanding, as long as it’s a disney licensed pin (Loungefly pins are) you should be good!
A Cast member told me that you can't trade Loungefly pins. Is this true? Or are they only tradable with the pin people that post up?
I'm a cast member in adventureland usually I'm at tiki juice bar or fruit cart across from jungle cruise. I get allot of fake trade sadly but I do get good trades.
I've been seeing all of these Mickey pins with different colors (silhouette of the whole body in the video), are these real? I really like them and have recently just started with pins :)
This aint the livestream I asked for... BUT ILL TAKE IT!
😂😂 thanks for the support man 🤝🏼

Thank you guys for the new board location! We’ve been able to trade at that one a few times now so thank you guys 💯
Thanks so much for all the tips! I’m just getting into pin trading, and these tips really helped! I really like that Tomorrowlanding tip! Can’t wait to go to the parks and trade !

Tips of authentic and where to buy them?
Can we trade loungefly or other pins from boxed lunch or hot topic?
Someone on tik tok yelled at me that I did it so I am confused and want to do the correct thing
@@etallon72 trading loungeflys from boxlunch/hot topic are 100% tradable at the parks! Any Disney licensed pin is!
NEVERMIND I just hadn’t gotten to that part of the video yet haha
Lol no worries! Glad we were able to answer this question
What were those websites you mentioned to get real Disney pins on?

That spin killed me. #AdamChrisSpinz
😂😂😂 Might have to trade mark that!
can you list the places to get real pins? I try to get them from the outlets, but they are often still pricey
The 2 places we mentioned in the video are My D Pins & Frank and sons. They have $2-$3 trading pins
@@adamchrispinz thanks!
Part 2 please
My husband never says no when trading he has designated page's for especially kid's
Designated pages for kids is a good idea!
@@adamchrispinz my husband can't say no. He thinks it ruins the whole experience. After 3 yrs, came back in January, pin trading is so different now.
I have purchased 3 eBay lots and have gotten one scrapper ever
Hate to break it to you, but all eBay lots are 100% scrappers unfortunately
How are fake pins on a pin board in Disneyland
People buy fake eBay pin lots & put them on the boards
He seem mad rude
