- 83 KMH Top Speed from Factory!!! The test was done by using a GPS signal from Garmin; hence, its speed is NOT as accurate as RaceLogic where every milliseconds per Km/h count. Above all else, the displaying speed is much more reliable than what is shown on stock speedometer. Furthermore, this video should portray what this beast is capable of in a "closed" environment.
Test Conditions:
- Everyone was sleeping except one car on the road
- Atmospheric pressure played no role as it's an EV!
- Too much gravel at the starting point
- Voltage reading was 64V
- Rider's weight 73 KG
- Elevated ground; 6+ Gradient differences from start to finish
- You need guts to do this!

Wow, even at nighttime. Looove dualtron thunder. Even 60kmp feels too fast on my mantis. Haven't even reached max of 65kpm yet.

Is there so much difference between GPS or LCD at this kind of speed ?

@Demba TOURE The speed you see here is from GPS; where the LCD would display 88 KMH. However, the cruising speed at 40Km/h on LCD is the same as GPS reading.

Do you know if it's possible to calibrate lcd speed ?

It is well known that the Garmin virb exaggerates the speed. For an accurate depiction of speed use the Strava app. And record video simultaneously through an on screen recorder for actual speed results. The dualtron Thunder and the dualtron ultra do not exceed 43 miles an hour on zero grade without modification.
Wavely Veney Lets assume your assumption is correct, then would you agree if I do a GoPro GPS data side-by-side with Garmin? I appreciate your input, but I do not wish to spend money on other gadget. The reason I do overlay is to assist the audience’s perception on speed. One key factor that I that I am looking to reveal to the audience is wind-resistance. Instead of standing up, I sat down on my two feet to reduce surface area; hence, increase aerodynamic efficiency. You can repeat the same result as I did - it’s just a scary experience that’s all.
@@lightningthunder2065 Its free and easy. You have a cell phone? We all do. Install the following: Strava App, Screen recorder app and Test again. No expenses required.
Well then .. I'll strap my cell phone to something in the way of my camera so that you can see its screen display. Simple as you suggested, I'll post this clip two weeks later as I am in Japan at the moment - Family Holiday purposes.

GPS Speed Confirmation Request: Record your speed with Strava GPS App and record screen with AZ screen recorder . Repost video of top speed and let's confirm.
In this video description, I have mentioned the measurement device I used for this video and reported exactly what is displayed on the device. If you want to achieve the same result, try to sit on your two feet posture and report to me if reducing wind resistance aids higher top speed.
I bought a Dualped back in July, i hit 95km also & my son who is smaller and much lighter than i hit 98km......great product for much less..☺

@@lightningthunder2065 we had shops that tunes and build Dualtron Ultra to hit 130 - 150km/hr. Anything can be fast.
That's my ultimate project. It will be nice to experience something unique.
