- In late July, a tiny mayfly appears in large quantities. The Trico hatch on the Missouri is unlike any other hatch in the world. Thousands of bugs form clouds along the banks early in the morning. The sun is rising, and spinners begin to fall. They blanket the river and you can’t tell which fly is yours because there are simply too many bugs. This hatch can be extremely frustrating but also rewarding when you finally trick that trout.

I’m a little late to the Phelps on the fly party but this is incredible. I know im a few years behind in equipment but I just purchased a gh5 to film. Could you do a quick vid on settings for the gh5? I’m slowly assembling my kit from your old video and I’d just like to know what settings you recommend.
The GH5 is still a badass and very relevant camera, way ahead of its time. A couple tips- I always keep my shutter at 180 degrees and use ND's and aperture to control exposure.
