Wow indeed, mind blowing. Oddly l have always felt an affinity with the No.13; perhaps because schooling in England l note it was shunned by the populous (branded unlucky) for simply being itself and so l adopted it as my lucky number. I am so glad l did for indeed l am lucky to have been tracked by missionaries and called to repentance, taught the Gospel of Jesus Christ and today, l discover l am a 13th Witness of the Book of Mormon and the restored Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Wow... Indeed it is a marvel and a wonder. Amazing
Thanks for the great lesson from both Tyler and Taylor! I am amazed at the new "news" of the Doctrine and Covenants , new perceptions, better understanding, and a growing testimony that today, in my life, where I'm at on my life cycle, is exactly the time that I need the insights of the Doctrine and Covenants. I often feel overwhelmed by my stewardship both mentally and physically. But your teaching style reminds me that I am one witness and that there are many witnesses who stand with me, that repentance is a "turning to" the Love and Trust that Jesus manifests. I will continue to strive to turn to the Lord, that I may qualify to someday stand with the Lord as a witness! That the 8 witnesses and the 3 witnesses didn't live perfect lives and yet, they never refuted the witness that they had borne. I look forward to continue the journey both on this earth, during my lifetime, as well as in the Spirit World and eternity. The Savior's love emanates from all the scriptures and His Plan is evident in the Doctrine and Covenants, today, tomorrow, and forever.

I love this, in keeping with my new years resolution of watching and listening to all the CFM videos, I was listening to this presentation as I was walking around the house doing chores after work yesterday. It literally brought peace of mind and serenity after a typical stressful busy day. However, I had the feeling to listen again but this time actually sit down and watch it. I actually came away with added measure this time, especially with the wonderful depictions of life at that time. I remembered a recent conversation I had with a non member friend about the restoration. She asked about JS and wanted to know why God selected non scholarly people to restore the gospel. There were many ways I could've answered this question but instead I asked her; if she had a very important project that she needed accomplished, and if she had a room full of people with different skills and backgrounds, who would she ask? Straight away she said she would ask those who are reliable or who have the desire to genuinely help. I then asked her if education or means were factors in knowing who to ask. She just said 'oh I see'. When I think of these humble servants, ordinary imperfect people doing extraordinary things, and doing their best to follow God, I am grateful to them. I am grateful for their examples and dedication to the Lord. At the end of my conversation with my friend I said that the lives and examples of the early saints are a reminder and witness to me that the Lord can do marvelous things with just the bare necessities. My friend agreed and commented that in this instance, the bare necessities were enough, and were all that God needed to help him achieve a monumental task ♥️

Thank you for another amazing lesson. I love the story about Mary Whitmer. I was so glad that Heavenly Father blessed her with Moroni's visit so she could see the plates. I can imagine how loved she must have felt. That must have been a very stressful time for her. It touches my heart that Heavenly Father knew of her burden and provided a miracle for her eyes only. Tyler, you answered a question that I literally asked Heavenly Father yesterday. I wondered if Peter, Jr and John Whitmer were praying together or if they were praying the same thing separately. I love how the Lord works. I love my Savior.
Give Tyler a drink of water. He packs so much information into these teachings. I am very grateful that Tyler and Taylor do these teachings each week because I didn't grow up learning The Book of Mormon. I grew up hearing teachings of The Bible.
