I love your videos!! Please please please do not shorten them because some people don’t have time to listen to the whole thing. Those of us who do, want you to cover everything you want to cover. Perhaps some just won’t be able to listen to the whole thing, but the rest of us will be able to (and we are glad to get as much as we can). You go ahead and cover what you think the material warrants. I am grateful to receive whatever you have for us. No insult intended to those who have less time to listen than I do. ❤️ them and to you brother H.
Jared, I know this may be a bit premature, however, I sure hope you will prepare similar lessons in 2022 for our upcoming Old Testament studies.Just a positive seed to water for the next few months.Gracias hermano.
O no !! I forgot the Old Testament is coming up! I can never understand the way it is written! I really hope Brother Halverson will have compassion on us and help us interpret the Old Testament next year!!!
@@kevdonald1298 I have no problem with him taking as long as he wants. He's already made history as a teacher of LDS scripture. I cannot imagine anyone ever having taught the scriptures more thoroughly. I believe his work will change the Church to some extent. We have all been on different pages of doctrinal knowledge for too long, and many of us yearn for more. Seminary was a long time ago, and those of us who were there at all were not yet adults. Then there are converts who never had the privilege. It is hard to be a good member missionary when one doesn't know one's religion. Brother Halverson provides a solid bridge to that end.
This is more needful and obviously lacking in government today. We don't have honest, wise or good people running govt. Therefore the skepticism and distrust is justified. And WE must be honest and wise and good enough not to follow or support them. And we've been deceived by the wicked among us for a very long time. We need to change. We need to support those laws that are Constitutional and not follow their wickedness. It's up to us to have courage to stand . DC 98 is one of my most favorite scriptures.
A bit late in finishing, but your inspiration in teaching D & C 94~101 is magnificent. Every single week of being taught the principles, doctrines and added extra history is like listening to general conference daily. May the Lord’s continued blessings be upon you and your sweet family. 💕
I am happy to learn from you. I have nerver learned so much 🥰 in a day in the past like I am learning with you. It's kind of a walk through. Thank you so much brother. I am always so amazed and thankful for the depth of your lessons. I love history and so appreciate that you put the events into historical perspective. It helps me to understand what is happening in relation to the history of mankind. Thank you for your diligence.
Love the length and the connection of every verse to the whole. Never realized how important this really is until Unshaken. Has taught me to no longer skim, but understand. I feel different after 3.5 hrs. Transformed and transported. Finally understand how to read scriptures better. I went to a youth testimony mtg and someone said he was from "the royal generation" and felt sorry for the rest of us, that we did not have that distinction, LOL. Hate to tell him this old lady was told that in the 60's herself. Love the treatise of this!

Thank you for your lengthy videos. We are learning so much! People should break it down in increments they can handle if the lengthy lessons are too long for them. I sometimes get a little behind but its not a problem as I eventually catch up. We appreciate your sacrifice Br Halverson!
Brother Halverson, a thought and question for you. The parable of the nobleman and the olive trees in section 101 seems to indicate that, at the time of Zion's complete redemption in the last days, Joseph Smith will return according to the instructions wherein the young and middle aged are gathered to redeem the vineyard. Do you see this? As you've said there need to be Saints prepared to do so before it can happen, and I believe that is coming about. My reasoning is thus because while we learn about Zion's camp being one aspect of this parable's application, yet Zion was not then and still isn't redeemed. To me that means that Joseph, identified as the one servant, will return to do this and gather those who are so refined, sanctified, and prepared. I'd love to learn more of your thoughts!
I have found joy this morning in listening to your teaching verse 24 about being punished in advance! I have chuckled through your information because I delight in your explaining this concept ! Thank you ! It is so true!! It took me back to raising our six children and being a first grade teacher for many years ! You made my day !!!🙏🏻❤️❤️‼️

One of my institute students painted that as a gift for me, after a "Women in the Scriptures" course in which we talked at length about Eve's courage and faith. It's a masterpiece surpassed only by the celestial soul who painted it!
I hope you don't mind Bro Hal, and also that it doesn't detract from your amazing lesson, if I share the timelapsed video of the Eve painting Kylie did for you here? ruclips.net/video/IvzDBHBDp7E/видео.html
Thank you so much for your lessons. I really appreciate them. Did your family have a missionary serving in New Zealand about 50 years ago? I remember an Elder Halverson.
Hello. I am grateful for the time and wisdom you share willingly. I say/ask the following as humbly as humanly possible- How does Green Flake and Jane Manning, and many many other unknown Blank and POC Saints fit into all of this? I have heard in every channel the same mantra of "the Saints were abolitionists", but I'm disheartened by it. We know some saints held slaves. That's a fact. And that they held slaves long after even in the beginning during Brigham Young's time. I'm just concerned and confused why these truths are not taught or acknowledged? I want to teach truth in my calling- I do not feel great ignoring these amazing Saints in my lessons, they greatest among the greats. So how can I have them be a part of my lesson? Respectfully, thank you for your time.
I cherish the idea of God proving us. 1830s Webster’s dictionary “prove” defined as “reveal under experimentation”. Forget the idea of a final test because God already knows our nature and how we will act. Think of this as an educative/learning experience that reveals to OURSELVES how we will respond.
Brother Halverson, I dont understand agency. What is agency? I am going to ask my Bishop to explain it to me in my native tongue, portuguese, but every time you say agency I don't understand. If you could please help me with that, I 'd apreciate it.
The last 10 or so years we’ve started voting third party and oh my the pushback we get! But I can’t feel ok in my soul just voting for the lesser of two evils
I feel the same!!! This scripture block has more verses in it than any we've done to this point, and as long as we're sticking to the verse-by-verse approach, it makes for a loooong lesson! I'll definitely have to change the approach next year in the Old Testament since verse-by-verse will be impossible, but I've wondered if I might need to start making that shift earlier!
@@Unshaken no please don’t-I love love love the verse by verse technique! I’m still on the previous episode. It’s been a crazy week or so. Nonetheless, I am soooo looking forward to this particular segment as it contains a scripture that President Kimball commended to me. I’ll watch, learn, listen and feel the Spirit for as long as you are willing to share.
@@Unshaken I love the word by word, verse by verse approach! As long as you have strength to share your spirit and insight, I will find a way to listen to both! 3 hrs can fly by like it's nothing. 3 hours a week is less than 30 minutes a day. The benefit of taking the time to listen to you far outweigh any sacrifice of time. Please don't give heed to those who can't figure out a way to take the time to study with you while sacrificing part of your message for wise men who do.

I hope that Jared will notice your comment. I would love for him to do videos on the Old Testament.
O no !! I forgot the Old Testament is coming up! I can never understand the way it is written! I really hope Brother Halverson will have compassion on us and help us interpret the Old Testament next year!!!
@@MikolDawn Let us pray his lesson is more condensed😇I could see Genesis turning into a 6 hour video.
I can't wait for his Old Testament lessons.
This is just what I need after this day
50,000.Congratulations. You are doing a good work. Thank you.
A bit late in finishing, but your inspiration in teaching D & C 94~101 is magnificent. Every single week of being taught the principles, doctrines and added extra history is like listening to general conference daily. May the Lord’s continued blessings be upon you and your sweet family. 💕
Thank you so much for your lessons. I learn so much every time. I love this one especially, many of our members need to hear it.
I am happy to learn from you. I have nerver learned so much 🥰 in a day in the past like I am learning with you. It's kind of a walk through. Thank you so much brother. You help me strengthen, become more valiant in my testimony 😘 from the bottom of my heart I began to love RUclips these Covid days🫂😍.
Wonderful lesson. Thank you very much 😍👏
Thank you so much for the transcription!
I loved this lesson. We need to be faithful and obedient. Thank you for sharing this with us.
We the listener's are very grateful for teaching US this Wonderful talent you are sharing for the goodness of mankind. Thanks a lot. May you not stop to inform US different knowledge pertaining to the kingdom of GOD. More Power to your Channel. GOD 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for your lessons. They’ve helped me grow so much.

Love this. Watch it every Sunday
Your teaching has been one of the blessings of covid. Many in my family participate in your lessons. Thank you!
I have truly loved your lessons and am grateful for the time you give to prepare as well as provide us what you feel inspired to give. When I am tight on time, I speed you up a bit. Evidence shows that increased speed can still be taken in, in some cases even more so than at regular speed.. I can hear it all and be fed, which we all need! Please don't stop, you've changed my life!

This lesson comes at a most important time, and I am grateful for your thoughtful words, and the sharing of your talent. This lesson helps provide much clarity in a very dark world. Thank you.
More saints were following your lesson! You're awesome teacher!
So glad you bat for our side, in this war of truth, hate to see you guys ever go rough, glad you got children, sons of Halver, sounds like sons of Thunder on their missions👍
98:13-14 reminds me of the discussion we had earlier on Rev 12:11 on how we overcame in the pre-mortal life. Check out footnote c , it is how we signed up and what we signed up for. TS. 42:10.
I hope that all who comeon the link to watch brother Jared Halverson teach us in the ways of Our Lord and Savior, will stop and click on the like button for his time and effort and love for the scriptures and us. In doing so you will help put his video's further up the LINE OF POPULAR VIDEO's that is a great way to SPREAD THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST. Smiles!!!
Jared this lesson is really good, it’s for our time right now. This might help o your sore lip. It cure instantly, lip clear Lysine
Thanks for the advice! I was laughing at that cold sore--as a kid I would have been mortified to be seen in public with a sore on my lip. Glad to have a little proof that I'm less self-conscious now :)
1,000mg of L-Lysine every day for a month, than 500mg maintenance daily. You'll never have a canker sore and fever blister again. Used it for years in my practice. DOC

I love your lessons! I appreciate the thoroughness and applications. I follow your lessons throughout the week along with my scripture study. I don’t know what to do when the video is over! Love the early preview to next week’s lesson. That helps me start pondering early on the next sections.
I don't often have enough time to participate in your entire weekly episodes, but I have to say, I LOVE your intro! Just listening to it lifts me up each time. Thank you!😃
Try setting the speed to 1.75. You get through it faster.
I love these lessons. They have helped me so much. I am so grateful for Brother Halverson and I hope to thank him personally one day. Does anyone know if there is a way to see them in some sort of order? I just look it up on RUclips and random lessons come up. It is always a battle for me to find the latest lesson or a previous lesson
Ah!! I thought section 88 that you did, was unbeatable... but this one, is pretty close to 88. And I'm only 20 min in!! So MANY truths and words of Peace. Thank you for being God's Mouth Peace! Its so wonderful!

Thank you for your lengthy videos. We are learning so much! People should break it down in increments they can handle if the lengthy lessons are too long for them. I sometimes get a little behind but its not a problem as I eventually catch up. We appreciate your sacrifice Br Halverson!
This is like taking an Institute class. I don't mind how long it takes to go through each verse. Thank you for your time.
Thank you for these each week :) I truly appreciate your time and sacrifice :)
Thank you Jared! I've learned I need to be more obedient. Love how long these are!

You made my day !!!🙏🏻❤️❤️‼️
Thank you for this spiritual and an uplifting lesson 💚 it has helped me with my preparation for my own conversion of the gospel🎉
The gospel is true. Kia monuina!
Love this channel. We’ve been listening since June 2020 and eagerly await the newest installment. We have told so many people about it. Thank you for your constant hard work. We pray before we listen and ask that the Lord bless you.
I feel like our last "honest, wise, and good" was Eisenhower. But at age 52, I could be wrong.
Where did you get the beautiful portrait of mother Eve with the serpent?
One of my institute students painted that as a gift for me, after a "Women in the Scriptures" course in which we talked at length about Eve's courage and faith. It's a masterpiece surpassed only by the celestial soul who painted it!
I hope you don't mind Bro Hal, and also that it doesn't detract from your amazing lesson, if I share the timelapsed video of the Eve painting Kylie did for you here?

Listening to this Nov 8 2022 so it’s too late again. I voted but I wasn’t happy about it.
Brother Halverson, I dont understand agency. What is agency? I am going to ask my Bishop to explain it to me in my native tongue, portuguese, but every time you say agency I don't understand. If you could please help me with that, I 'd apreciate it.

Almost 4 hours! Come on that's just too much. Thanks though for your service and efforts tho. I do appreciate them.
Make it 11 hours! I’ll still remain.
It’s worth it!!! Keep the videos coming!!:)
