Where you need to do head check and shoulder check

In this video, I am going to show you where you need to shoulder check and head check. Head check and shoulder check are the same some state it's call shoulder check and some places it's called head check. There are three most important places in doing the head check. Firstly you need to do a head check whenever your car goes to a stationary position, for example, you doing a three-point turn, you stopping the left-hand side in street. Always you need to do a head check before moving your car. Second head check you need to do it whenever you crossing the bicycle line and third head check you need to do it when you line change. I'm in BC Canada so it's right side road driving and the steering wheel is on the left side.
I'm taking drivers lessons and go for my new drivers test from my learners next week, shoulder checks is something I struggle with especially on what way to look in different situations. I'm ok at it but probably check when I don't really need to

Hello VIckas, great video. I have a question. In the second example, when I see a big trunk parking on the left kerb and there is oncoming car, there is no space passing. So I need to pull over a little left side of the road and give away to the oncoming car. Before I pull over/stop, do I need to head check before I pull over?

If you are first in traffic lights then you need headcheck to both left & right before taking off.
Also during 3 pointer, before starting 3rd point we need both left & right headcheck (in video showed only right check).

Traffic light you don't need to headcheck in kerb to kerb three point turn first you need to pull over and then you need to right shoulder check before moving and then when you reverse back shoulder check you need to do

Weird.. In Europe we never do "shoulder checks" they say it's outdated technique and dangerous since you are taking your eyes off the road while driving. Risk is not worth the reward. Can you fail a driving test if you do not do this?

Every right turn you need to do headcheck in NSW. I think you are not right here. Whenever you are changing position of vehicle, you must do headcheck.
