Just research about dhondia wagh . He was marathi by orign and lived in mysore(south india) . He was one of the most notorius rebel and feared by the british . Originally he worked for tipu sultan as a trusted commander but after 1791 when mysore lost considerable territory in north karnataka he carried harrasing and ambushing warfare against the british and peshwas . At end it was the mighty duke of wellington or arthur weasley who defeated and killed him. As a war trophy took his blood stained mustache to england .

Try to learn properly about Tipu Sultan. He was a Jihadi. He waged war and forced many to convert and destroyed temples. The atrocities he committed in Malabar converted many. In Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram, Tipu Sultan was prevented from coming by the British. So Tipu could not convert in those areas like in Malabar.
