This song could be one of the most saddest songs ever to be written...and the video is a apt depiction of it...and you dont realize that until the end of the video. Hes in a mess ever since his wife died and is all alone and is imagining his wife is alive. Either hes aware that hes losing his sanity or hes saying all this because he has lost his sanity due to the depression of her death. Thats a horrible situation to be in and listening to this song makes me really sad.

It's still like a wasteland in some places as of Feb. 2019. Houses demolished, streets cracked and broken. Weeds growing. But large tracts have been bulldozed and planted in grass. Just sitting empty. Waiting. Waiting for something to be done with it.
