- The kidneys are paired retro peritoneal organs on either side of the body, they are part of the genitourinary system and made up of both kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra and also the adrenal glands which pull double duty for the endocrine system as well.
I am going to cover the basics including protocol, some anatomy and variations/anomalies. I will focus on the most common processes first, I have another video and blog post covering renal artery Doppler that I will link to.
