I love that you give us directions on how to determine the size we need and crochet to that size. I would do a sample piece so I would know how many stitches per inch. This is a pretty stitch. I’m going to have to check my stash. Thanks for sharing this!
@@ModeBespoke everything is going well!!! Ive crocheted a blanket and many hats so i think this will be my selfish project. bby girl will be here in feb ❤️ can't wait 🥳🥳!!! I will email you a picture of my finished sweater!
Love this, have struggled to find menswear projects for me to do. I have a couple questions, if you have a minute. 1.on this sweater, how do you tighten up the bottom of that V neck? In the video it looked like the stitches had some big gaps. Could you do a different border stitch for inside the collar and bottom of the sweater, like a simple single crochet type thing? 2. If I wanted to use a different type of stitch, is there a method for converting the pattern, or is it all reliant on just the chain size made at the beginning, focused on measurement and not stitch count? Thank you! I have learned so much off your videos. I have practically given up knitting I love Tunisian so much.
Thank you! 😊 1. Yes! Absolutely! If the space between stitches is too wide for your taste, then yes, play around with other options. Alternatively, you can switch hooks and use something much smaller. If you use a hook 1-2 mm smaller, you can try crocheting a 1 sc, 2 sc pattern, though depending on how small a hook you use, you could end up having to double the stitch count. 2. Another yes! Use any stitch you want, sugar! You’ll need to mind both; the stitch count and measurements. If the stitch has a multiple, say 3, then your chain will need to be crocheted in multiples of 6 in order to crochet 2 matching panels along the v neck. BUT the chain will still need to meet your desired garment measurements. If you use something like a simple stitch, or any stitch without multiples, just crochet an even number of chains. 🥰 thank you! I’m so happy the videos have been useful. 😂 I’m still trying to figure out knitting….it’s been quite the adventure. 😅
Bonjour. Je viens juste de trouver ce modèle et je le trouve très beau. Vous parlez d'un crochet simple 3,5 mm au début de la vidéo mais vous ne l'avez pas utilisé. Est-ce que j'ai raté quelque chose? Belle journée ❤
I didn’t say how much yarn it took as that’ll vary based on your measurements. I linked a tutorial for how to calculate yardage when I talked about the supplies you’ll need (it’s on the card that pops up at the top right corner). Here is the tutorial: ruclips.net/video/4eK-Vlf9Fjw/видео.html
I'm really a beginner Tunisian crocheter but intermediate crocheter, I've got to try this because there are so few men's garments and this is lovely!!
Thank you!
