That head scissors take down that they have all the women doing goes as far back as the wrestler named Lita. I think she did it for an episode of Highlander and she broke her neck. I knew this movie was gonna be bad especially after waiting for 9 years for a fourth installment of this series just to bring it back and that’s just Insane how crazy this is and my favorite Expendable movie is the third one and i really did like Ronda Rousey in that movie and she was really good in that movie and she was badass too and Mel Gibson was a great villain for that movie role too and I can’t believe it’s been 9 years now since the last one came out and next year it will be the 10th anniversary when EX3 came out and time sure does flies in the movie world that’s for damn sure Lee bro 😎 and still looking forward on seeing this movie when it comes out on Vod and buy it on 4k to add it with the other Expendables movies on 4K Lee brother bruh 😎
Seems like between this and Harrison Ford's latest Indy outing, seems like a reminder how Father Time is undefeated. The first one was great for the wow, he's still alive. Second one was kinda the same thing, but Hollywood never knows when to quit, and really, seems to me this should have quit after the first two. Anyways, thank you, Lee.

What a bummer this movie is. We used to have Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, and JCVD. Who did we get instead? Megan Fox and 50 Cent...How did the producers ever think this was a good idea?
They didn't learn their lesson from expendables 3. We just here to watch a pack of old heroes kicking ass, not some newbie that we never heard of.

It wasn't as bad as expected is probably the best comment i can make. Megan Fox is still incredibly hot, but it's the 80s action heroes that people come to watch. One massive positive though - it could've been much worse, it was almost The ExpendaBelles!
I knew it would be crap when they got 50 Cent & Megan Fox.
They should've picked Michael Jai White, Carl Weathers, John Travolta, Nicolas Cage, Danny Trejo, Kurt Russell, Keanu Reeves, Donnie Yen, Zoe Saldana, Mark Wahlberg, Jackie Chan or Cynthia Rothrock.
Actually was better than I expected it would be. I go in knowing that every Expendables movie will be really disappointment so I can just watch it for what it is over what I expect it to be. This one at least had everything I wanted a descent fight with Jaa and a descent fight with Statham and Uwais, which is really all you can ask for from an Expendables movie
If they were going to cast a young actress in this movie, in my opinion, they should've cast either Kelli Berglund or Olivia Holt, & I'm saying this after watching both Marvel's Cloak & Dagger & the STARZ Show Heels.

It's A Fun🤩Action Comedy Movie.
This Expendables 4 movie Should have had Shaquille O’Neal as a main antagonist since this action movie was using actors that are not action movie stars.

I went and saw it this weekend. It's nowhere near as good as 1 or 2. But as for turning my brain off and seeing it, I enjoyed it. I think it was sort of sad that it became a Statham thriller instead of a team of misfits coming together. As always, I enjoyed Dolph Lungren can't see because he needs glasses. That and I think that you have to have an 80's vibe with Megan Fox was slightly ambushed. There's one guy (who I won't spoil it) turned bad at the end. But out of everything, it's between this and part 3. I mean, in part 4 NO ONE returned. The new blood in it worked alright, but you didn't know their names. All in all, it was decent time waster

Very embarrassing Lee that this action movie released to theaters used cgi blood instead of practical effects for blood which was common for action movies in the 80s and 90s.

Yes, it's small, but it's not passing of the torch. He's in it for the first 20-30 minutes, but shows up in the last 5 minutes. And it seems like he is still part of the group and isn't retiring or anything.

I love the expandables movies. The idea of bringing the maximum amount of action actors from 80s and 90s. People really shit on 3 but I also really enjoyed 3. I got really excited when I saw the trailer for 4. Today I watched it and…… I really enjoyed it BUT this is the most nonsense movie in the franchise. I think it might be the worst of the series but I thought it was more fun than 3 I guess. I REAAAAAAALLY gotta rewatch the first 3 but I know I love them lol. But there are problems in 4 in my opinion like the dialogue, the fucking dialogue is sooooo fucking cringe, this movie has the that typical dislikable henchman, that type of henchman in action you see you immediately dislike the guy 😂 I do like the little twist involving the villain BUT the villain’s motivations are SO FUCKING GENERIC but I liked the twist, on the other hand, the another twist is predictable but still cool NOW THE EXPLANATION FOR THE TWIST IN THE VERY END……. HOLY SHIT ! It’s so so fucking nonsense that I believe the screenwriters wrote ANYTHING 😂😂😂😂 I liked the addition of 50 cent because I LOVE him, he’s my fav rapper, I wish he was more in the movie, I didn’t mind Megan fox LOL she doesn’t destroy the movie for me, aside that I really enjoyed this movie, the action is pretty good despite some shots the CGI is noticeable but still better than some the latest superhero CGI movies. But I really enjoyed the action (which is the main reason why I enjoy these movies 😂) I don’t think the movie is offensively bad but for me it’s very easy to say that cause I love the series. I just found the movie fun and funny despite the horrible/cringe dialogue and some of the CGI and the biggest problem the NONSENSE especially the explanation in the end, it was way too far. Expendables 4 is most likely less awful than the terrible sequel Freddy’s Dead The Final Nightmare which has an extremely comedic Freddy Krueger.

Expend4bles was ok. Statham steals the show. Everyone else in the character development was God awful. If you think Expendables (2023) was relish, then Borderlands by Eli Roth (known for Thanksgiving) that came out this weekend is worse.

That's insane. We live in a very interesting time when it comes to movies where fan films, in some cases, are actually getting better than studio films and studio made sequels within certain franchises. I'm thinking for example about the Never Hike Alone fan films on RUclips. These guys are doing a better job reviving and continuing the Friday The 13th series than actual studio made sequels.

Like you, I absolutely love Stallone. But if I'm being honest, the biggest feeling I had after seeing the first expendables back in 2010 was disappointment. I was expecting a movie the quality of Rambo 4 and Rocky Balboa, instead i got a straight to dvd action flick. The characters were just non existent, and it's hard to care at all when they are all basically just playing parodies of themselves. I still enjoyed it enough I guess, and 2 and 3. But I've watched them maybe once since the theatres. When I saw Megan Fox in the cast I knew it would be awful, then I saw the trailers and knew it would be a straight up abomination. Also obvious that Sly is gonna be in the movie about 10 minutes.
Yeah even the first didn't hold a candle to Rambo and Rocky. Classic Stallone. Cobra too.

I finally saw this movie today with my mom on 4k and we both did enjoy it but it does has its flaws and I will get into that one real soon and Barney Ross played by Sylvester Stallone he did a good job in this movie but he barely in this one and he pretty much waste in this movie and surprisingly his character didn’t died in this movie and lucky he did survived in this movie tho and it was nice to see that character back once again and Lee Christmas played by Jason Statham he did a great job too and he was so awesome for this role and he was badass as the lead main character role for this film too and Gunnar Jensen played by Dolph Lundgren he did a great job too as well but his hair looks so weird looking in this movie tho and he was still good for this movie too and Gina played by my girl Megan Fox she did a great job in this movie and she was so amazing in this film and she was badass as this character role too and she sure is so incredibly sexy as hell bro and she is so gorgeous too and I’m always a huge fan of her now too love her to death brother bro and Decha played by Tonya Jaa he did a great job for this movie too but he barely in this movie tho but he was still badass when he was on screen tho and Easy Day played by 50 Cent he did a great job in this movie and he is so hilarious in this movie too and I didn’t mind his character in this movie too and I do like his music too as well and Rahmat played by Iko Uwais he did a good job as a side character villain role for this movie and he was so awesome for this role too but unfortunately he’s not the main villain in this movie it’s somebody else’s is and he would been a perfect main villain role for this film too and he was still badass when he was on screen though and Marsh played by Andy Garcia he did okay job but I didn’t not buy him as the main villain role for this movie tho and he doesn’t add anything new with this character either and he pretty much wasted in this movie too and overall I’m gonna give Expend4bles (2023) a 8/10 stars I really did enjoy this movie for what it was going for but it could of been kitty bit better if it had some nudity for a change and have a better main villain role too and have the movie be little bit longer too but that’s just me though in my opinions and thoughts on this movie Drumdums brother
Yeah this one lost the charm of the others. The idea of The Expendables is it's kinda like The Avengers but with every action icon and it doesn't even have that. Also the others are meant to be a love letter to the over the top cheesy action movies this is just generic

Expendables budget 1: 80 million 2: 100 million 3: 90 million and 4: 100 million yikes
CGI blood is an abysmal flaw because the blood looks utterly fake which is why practical effects for blood should always be used since it’s going to look realistic.
It’s very frustrating when cgi blood is used in movies because it looks unrealistic and very cheap since it has no resemblance to real blood other than the red color, and because it’s an attempt to sanitize a violent aspect in a violent movie.
This movie is the most expendable out of all The Expendables movies.
I will still rather watch this than any of the Fast and Furious movies

Have you seen “The Night Comes for Us” with Iko Uwais? It’s worth checking out, he plays a good villain in it and it’s his best movie after The Raid movies. It also has Joe Taslim as the protagonist (also in The Raid, Sub-Zero in MK and the awesome TV show “Warrior”)

I had a really fun time with this movie. It’s trashy and uninspired, but the low brow humor worked for me and I do love seeing Iko Uwais and Tony Jaa, even if they are underused and don’t get to fight each other. I thought it was funny how the film had some SE Asian cues in the music for Iko when he’s kicking ass because Stuber did the exact same thing XD i also had my expectations set after I watched Hidden Strike, another Scott Waugh action film that had crappy CGI and was a smaller scale movie than the trailers led you to believe.

Unfortunately the franchise lost itself. The first two are retro action masterpieces for how they were made. The collaboration of all these action stars was so awesome to see and 1 and 2 were really well made. Nice SFX and great classic action setpieces. With 3 it went quite downhill while it was still okay since most stars were still in it and the action was enjoyable.
Now with Part 4 they got rid of almost everything that made the first movies special. It was okay two watch for some callbacks with Lundgren and Statham but the magic is gone. The CGI was horrendous (at best), the cast was decimated and replaced by 50 Cent and Megan Fox? She was the worst part of the movie, since her character felt shoehorned in. If they brought in Ronda Rousey's character from 3 it would have been acceptable instead. Expendables just does not work without classic action stars and good SFX, since a movie like that doesn't rely on a great story. Unfortunately even the previous stories blow the new one away as well.

I don't think that would have saved this movie.
It was a garbage movie. Stallone seemingly died early in the movie only for him to return at the very end, they went with the old faked his own death ploy, so his character was very wasted for nothing.
I knew he was going to return.
Great action movie. JS kicked butt. Fox was hot and I loved her in this. Garcia was great as usual. Stallone was great. Nonstop action. Highly recommended.

Agreed. There are still so many great old icons they could have tapped from the well. What a waste.
