Milton, Paradise Lost, Book 2

Book 2 of Paradise Lost continues in Hell, with the rebel angels holding a war council in Pandaemonium. They resolve to send Satan to seek to beguile and pervert God's image-bearers, Adam and Eve. To reach the earth, Satan must traverse the chaos in Hell to reach its gate, where it is guarded by the two unforgettable figures of Sin and Death.

God is freedom, god is love. Helps a lot when working out free will and servitude. Does Satan though no longer have the freedom to stop being Satan? Like they have to do evil, they forfeited any choice in doing anything else ever again
