the ra685 doesnt have a secure call feature. just ctss and dcs tones. not private, but they do help with interference. the battery is average and so is the antenna. i wouldn't say any batter under 2000mah is worry free I didn't see any evidence that the rt86 supports any encryption. a lot of people can hear "scrambled" transmmisions just fine. also the scramble that the ra89 has is just one of the standardized ones that anyone can have access to. rb22 has the worst battery life yet in the video but you call it "extended" 👌 this video seems like generated script just for links to radios you benefit from selling. i even like the ra89. just bought one. but misinformation and pointless gab...watch out guys
