    Having one with a no spark. Turn out to be the red kill button sticking. It would turn over no spark, tap the housing on the bars and she starts and runs

      How did you tap the switch ? Which wires did you jump ?

      @tonystone6955 I used a screw driver and tapped on the housing that holds the start stop switches. The red one that you put the lanyard under seems to be an issue on alot of these old ski's. They sit with the kill switch contacts connected anytime there is no lanyard under it. I think the circuit goes closed ( grounded ) when it's down, and needs to be open circuit to have spark

    Could you tell me where the lines from the oil pump go into? Do i have to get into the carbs? I know which ones go to which cylinder but don't know where they attach

    Hi could you tell me if the starter solenoid has to be a certain way up? As long as I have the correct wires, would it matter

    Hello sir. My jet ski has zero power. This happened when I jump started it with a running vehicle (lol won’t do that again). I see that the ground to the stator was fried, but did not completely break in half. Stator itself doesn’t look bad. So I definitely need to fix this but I’m trying to find out what is causing zero power. Could a broken ground on the stator cause zero power? When I bypass solenoid it works but I’ve replaced that already while having this problem. Could be starter switch but it’s interesting that that would happen while jumping it. Replaced electrical box with used box and still nothing.

      Yeah. Burned wires + charging system and spark = no start.

    Thank you for your posts they are the only helpful ones I've found. I'm a newbie and a woman (don't count me out yet) but I've tried to remove the cover on the e box and it's attached with some kind of sealant. How do I remove this?

      Make sure all the bolts are out some may, be hidden. Then take a small thin bladed flat screw driver and carefully pry between the top and the box working around the top a little at a time till it pops off

    Good Morning . i'm from brazil, i have a jet ski kawasaki zxi 750, it doesn't work anymore. it's like it doesn't have a battery, but it does and it's all right with it, the panel doesn't work. the trim does not work. and the engine is not. the battery cables and fuses have already been checked, they are all right, can you give me any hint of what might be? thanks

    Ours died and will not respond to switches anymore. Continuity on handl switches all good but no response when pressed. Jumping to starter and solenoid works. Any issues with magnetic kill switch you've seen?

    Hey I’m new to Kawasaki’s. What is the 3 prong thing on the ebox that you had one yellow wire on? Is that just a grounding point? I’ve rebuilt waverunners but I’m working on my first real Jet Ski and just finished the rebuild and going on the electrical system next. It has known spark problems when I bought it

      I think you mentioned in your video that’s a point to ground the spark plug wire? Was that a test light you had hooked up to the loom?
      Thanks, Devin

      @m.s.r.makeshitrun2076  2 года назад +2

      @@mrmagicjax yes on both points 👉. That three pronged item on the top is to hang the plug wires. And yes I was using a test light. It draws enough current to make the connection. The bad connection is related to the trim module on the bottom of the boat. It got water in it and the connectors corroded.

      I used to think that the only ignitor module that would work in my boat was the number that came with it turns out they will all work the newer ones have a different timing curve Otherwise they work the same and they plug in the same.
