- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
We're back on "The Adstow Project" today, a beta version of a map upcoming from Mr Jack Sargent! The last time we visited Adstow, things were coming along nicely when we took a run on the route 99, a seafront service.
Today however we've got a new route to play with, which utilises the Optare Solo, so because of the shorter bus, we can now get round that tight little turning circle by the railway station. Easier to use a smaller bus, than rework the turning circle!

Regarding your comment re Bus Station Hubs, there are examples of them in the West Midlands; Dudley and Stourbridge have a central Bus Station that every route to the towns use (and Stourbridge is an Interchange with Stourbridge Town Railway Station), Walsall has a central Bus Station (with a couple of stops immediately outside it) plus an on-street "Interchange" the other side of the Town Centre, and near enough every route that serve Solihull use the on-street (but car-free) stops in the Town Centre (some routes start at the nearby Railway Station).
For a smaller example, Kidderminster has an all-service Bus Station - although the surroundings (and the Station) aren't as nice as Adstow.
Looks like a lovely little map, perfect for the Solo!
Can't wait for this map, It looks like defiantly one of the better maps that's been released for this game. I really do hope that more is done in terms of the Bus Station!

17:34 actually, there are bigger coins! The Royal Mint officially sells £5 and £20 coins among other high-value coins all of which are legal tender in England and Wales but no one has bothered to put them into the game just yet.
Another great omsi vid as always. Really enjoyed seeing the solo. I personally like double deckers the most especially a Scania or an enviro. But actually like this bus

Hi Joe loving the videos, loving the OMSI videos. Wish we had more OMSI content. How about an OMSI series? You could use Bus Company Simulator and do a solo company rather than public and you have to start off with old buses like the Solo, Renown or the B7RL Alx 400, digibus phantom and progress to newer models as you progress
Hi Joe, as you may know Southampton bus operations are ending in February (FIRST) which is a massive shame, as they been there since 2000. I grew up with Olympains, Darts, Merc Varios, ALX400s n B7TL Geminis
The Adstow station has been changed it’s now doing by a B7RLE 😂

I'd quite like to see an omsi map of the Medway Towns area in Kent. I spent several years living there. It would be a good map for the SP Lite as the things are everywhere in Medway irl, but out of Gillingham depot there's also a fair few B7TL ALX400s. I believe all of the routes in Medway run into or through Chatham Waterfront bus station. Being such a large urban area though, I'd imagine it would be quite a project.
So I'm from the West Country and routes have changed a lot in Devon since the 10's. I personally think someone should do a map of the North Devon (barnstaple) area. There's many long and short routes and Barnstaple bus station has many services come in from numerous different companies (mainly stagecoach and filers but also some T&T and country bus routes). Would be nice to see my home in omsi 😅.
