- Hello and welcome to another OMSI 2 video!
We're back in OMSI today getting more and more excited about the upcoming Renown... IT'S COMING TOMORROW PEOPLE!!!
Today we're going to be showcasing a nifty little feature which will be seen on the older variants of the Renowns... Rollerblinds! You can fully alter all your rollerblinds, be it front, side or back! The Renown will come with many different variations of rollerblinds which are really straight forward to use.
Today we're going to be driving the Sheffield Mainline spec Renown on the 122, from Paignton Memorial Crescent, through to Stoneley harbour!

I think I've actually drove this bus in real life. But by the time I drove it, it was in first colours. But still had the mainline interior and roller blinds (and via city center sign). The fleet number 781 OG means it was an Olive Grove depot bus.
Gorgeous repaint the work they have done is incredible
All those bells and whistles causing those texture redraws - and Joe has a high-spec rig. I love it, but I do wonder if my computer will run this bus.
I also remember Mainline had the Bendy bus too. NO JOKE EITHER! I did go on that once, it was amazing. Btw I'm probably not that much older than you so get calling me old as I have a good memory 😉

The standard rollerbline controls is F5-F8 on the keyboard with Page up/down to change the blind.
The front of the bus just doesn't look quite right, but it was definitely a Volvo, not sure if it was the wright stuff that yellow instead of black. You mention the atlantean is there any of those busses in Omsi2?? And is this just a dlc for omsi.or is this community made?? Great video, brings back tons of memories of growing up in sheffield

This bus and all the rest are amazing, one thing I did notice is that the left indicator kind of clips through the body a bit I don't know if they know about that or not but just thought I'd say

Absolutely agree with you there! I’ve had experience of using the store when beta testing, and it’s very user friendly.

How do you login to the ticket machine when it says insert SF module? There is only the ITSO and it does not work with the Transys.

After this all I'll need is a Gemini 1 and OMSI will be complete
Omsi 2 needs a Olympian Then it will be complete
Omsi 2 will need an Eclipse urban and then it will be complete

@@JoeDobsongaming It's economics I imagine, electric ramps are just another thing to go wrong and have more maintenance than manual ramps, so most companies don't bother - Since it's relatively minimal manual handling for a driver and manual ramps take (at worst) the same amount of time (as well as less chance of a passenger being injured I guess when the driver is directly lowering it) it just doesn't make sense for them
@@JoeDobsongaming the problem with the electric ramps the transdev Harrogate buses had was they would go faulty by them not going fully inside the floor the company I was working for had 6 ex transdev Harrogate

Rollerblinds were a pain in the neck if they became stiff.
Getting fed up with OMSI give us something a bit different. Used to be an interesting channel but now look at the title and just yawn.
