I was astounded when he told me that! I expected them to have to show some type of proof that they knew how to operate it.. but apparently nope. He said I could go rent a bull dozer myself, they would deliver it to my house and I could do whatever I wanted with it 🤦🏼♀️ they do charge a fee for insurance that will cover damage to the machinery, but otherwise it’s basically like renting a car.

Honestly, I don't watch David and know VERY little about him...... but from what I have seen of him and the vibe I get from him I wouldn't even be so certain that killing someone would make him care enough to stop his antics on his own. I think unfortunately the only way he would stop would be if he were to be charged with one of these "accidents" (either that results in injury or death) and sent to prison for attempted/actual manslaughter, assault with a deadly weapon (in this x case - the excavator) and recklessness of whatever he happens to be operating or doing at the time, etc. The way he is so flippant about stuff and seems to literally turn other people's misfortune into content is so disturbing and in most cases it's not even misfortune, it's HIM causing mental or emotional distress or physical injury and then exploits the process AND the aftermath of it. I think most people would have felt SO GUILTY during and after this and the very last priority would be to film and release any content about the incident. It's like he was happy that Jeff got so hurt, because it meant more content for him. He comes off like a total narcissist and sociopath to me. He really doesn't seem to have any emotions at all that are genuine, let alone are about anybody but himself. I don't know if that's just a learned thing for these mega hype do the craziest thing possible type of social media influencers or if it's innate within them and is part of what drives them to do these things in the first place and seek such large audiences to watch it...... maybe a bit of both. But either way it's incredibly disturbing and I don't see it as being something that will just suddenly change within them, nor do I believe that any consequences for OTHERS will effect them or their behavior at all. The consequences will have to be severe and be directly personal and probably directly prevent them from doing these things, and even then I don't they'd feel much of anything besides some bull shit about how unfair it is that they're being treated so 'unfairly' just for "accidentally" killing or injuring someone with an idiotic RUclips stunt. I wish the law would get involved and hold some of these people accountable. It's like they don't care at all and leave it up to the people being exploited to take legal action on their own, and then when they do they are sometimes completely ruined by the forces that be amongst the teams that work for these ass holes. If that victim goes onto victimize others then their victims equally deserve justice and to not be victimized and be allowed to speak out and be heard. David is not judge jury and executioner so it's not up to him to punish Jeff for his wrongdoings, just like it's not up to anyone else to punish David for his. If this happened to David instead of Jeff I'd equally be commenting if people were saying he deserved what he got. No, nobody deserves to be victimized because there is WAY too much error in judgment and lack of factual information for any of us to singlehandedly determine and hand out punishments. The answer is for the justice system that's already set in place to step it the fuck up and take things like this seriously and stop using this same logic you're using to give these ass hole abusers a free pass. Punish people accordingly for the crime or wrongdoing at hand. Don't dismiss one person's wrongdoing just because somebody else did something wrong too. We all should have learned that lesson in kindergarten and should know that just because Timmy punched John doesn't mean you can punch someone too.....even if that someone is Timmy! Otherwise, no Jeff didn't deserve it just because someone on the internet thinks he's also shitty. He may very well be shitty, but you could be too for all anybody knows, as could lots of humans going about their daily life who have horrible things happen to them and still are given a chance at justice. That is one of the big problems with this age of sharing everything online. So much so that we're now excusing very clear abuse as long as it's done to someone we don't really like? But do they deserve death or grave bodily injury? Well, no man, of course not. Fuck, capital punishment isn't even in practice nationally so there are states that won't use the death penalty on serial killers, yet this guy deserved to potentially die just because you think so? No. He may deserve for success to stop being given to him based on his shitty behavior and even probably deserves to have appropriate repercussions for any laws he's broken alone the way, as does David and all the other little narcissists profiting off their clear abuse of others. But this attitude of "he deserved it" is SO DANGEROUS and is such a slippery slope and I just can't get on board with it no matter who we're talking about. This is just an argument that's used far too often to silence victims, all the way from rape to murder by cop. I always felt like the Duggars were strange from the first time I heard about them years ago, I think then they had like 17 kids. Maybe it's because I'm not a parent myself, but I feel like having that many kids is a disservice to all of them. Even if two people are the most responsible parents in the world, I don't see how they can keep up with that many kids by themselves. I have been assaulted before and i took a while to come to terms with what happened. I blamed myself forever but i came to realize once u have to question the incident then somethings wrong. Sometimes you are in put in situation where u can be manipulated and made to feel pressured into an uncomfortable act. This is so wrong on all levels. Just because u go in for a kiss doesnt mean you want more.

I showed my husband the Jeff Wittek/excavator footage. My husband is a welder for Komatsu (mining company). He welds mining equipment... he was in shock that Jeff didn't die. Also, sometimes those excavators have a mechanism where it'll just stop like that if it's spinning at high speeds.... it's a safety feature (not defending David by all means)... but some do have that safety feature. Edit-- you guys just mentioned this lol.

Consent is FLUID which means that you may consent to kissing and other parts of the encounter at the beginning but if at a later point the girl says "no", "I don't want to do that" or pushes you away then you STOP! If he then continues on after he NO LONGER HAS CONSENT then it is considered SEXUAL ASSAULT. Guys think that because they initially had consent then they can continue on to do what they want but nope that is NOT how consent works.

It's still not really okay to victim blame because that's not how the legal system works and it's not how morality should work either. In this particular situation he was a victim, period. Doesn't mean he hasn't been the perpetrator in other instances, but that's not what is being discussed in this video so it seems odd to brush off what David has done by saying Jeff deserves it based on some totally separate things he's done that aren't being explained in this video and didn't have any barring on whether or not David should take some blame for this incident. If Jeff has truly been a horrible person and is also breaking the law, manipulating and extoting people with his power, committing sexual assault, physical assault, and mental and emotional assault continuously to multiple different people then we can totally discuss what should happen in those particular situations and I truly hope HIS victims speak out as well and try to seek some sort of justice or resolution. But we cannot dismiss one person's abuse in situations where their victims may be abusive to others in their own way as well, because we're then allowing every single situation to be excused. There are people out there who genuinely think a woman deserves to get raped if she wears a short skirt. There are parents out there who genuinely think a child deserves to be beat because they say a swear word. So if we leave it up to individual people whether or not someone "deserves" to be victimized we're just giving all predators an excuse to victimize and we're also giving them an out to have even more excuses and justifications at to their actions. This is why EVERY victim should count and get to express their own human right to not be victimized and bring some justice to the situation. If that victim goes onto victimize others then their victims equally deserve justice and to not be victimized and be allowed to speak out and be heard. David is not judge jury and executioner so it's not up to him to punish Jeff for his wrongdoings, just like it's not up to anyone else to punish David for his. If this happened to David instead of Jeff I'd equally be commenting if people were saying he deserved what he got. No, nobody deserves to be victimized because there is WAY too much error in judgment and lack of factual information for any of us to singlehandedly determine and hand out punishments. The answer is for the justice system that's already set in place to step it the fuck up and take things like this seriously and stop using this same logic you're using to give these ass hole abusers a free pass. Punish people accordingly for the crime or wrongdoing at hand. Don't dismiss one person's wrongdoing just because somebody else did something wrong too. We all should have learned that lesson in kindergarten and should know that just because Timmy punched John doesn't mean you can punch someone too.....even if that someone is Timmy! However, if we're talking straight self defense then yes, I'll side with you on the whole "they deserved it" thing. If someone chooses to abuse or hurt another person they should also be prepared for that person to stand up for themselves. So if there are any facts out there that Jeff was threatening David's safety in this moment and David had to fiercely swing him around at 60 miles an hour while hanging from a rope with only his hands and then suddenly come to a dead stop therefore slamming his body up against a metal machine at a high rate of speed, which could have resulted in his death or lifelong severely damaging injuries......well then I'm all ears. Otherwise, no Jeff didn't deserve it just because someone on the internet thinks he's also shitty. He may very well be shitty, but you could be too for all anybody knows, as could lots of humans going about their daily life who have horrible things happen to them and still are given a chance at justice. That is one of the big problems with this age of sharing everything online. So much of it is fake anyway it exaggerated, and then people think they know someone's character or deeply understand their life and personalities. So much so that we're now excusing very clear abuse as long as it's done to someone we don't really like? It's much more appropriate to simply not watch someone if they're a shit person, because I don't think someone deserves a career being a public figure if they are lying cheating stealing and abusing to gain power, just like a CEO wouldn't deserve that position if they were doing the same. But do they deserve death or grave bodily injury? Well, no man, of course not. Fuck, capital punishment isn't even in practice nationally so there are states that won't use the death penalty on serial killers, yet this guy deserved to potentially die just because you think so? No. He may deserve for success to stop being given to him based on his shitty behavior and even probably deserves to have appropriate repercussions for any laws he's broken alone the way, as does David and all the other little narcissists profiting off their clear abuse of others. But this attitude of "he deserved it" is SO DANGEROUS and is such a slippery slope and I just can't get on board with it no matter who we're talking about. This is just an argument that's used far too often to silence victims, all the way from rape to murder by cop. And at the end of the day, we don't act as judge jury and executioner in this country, we have a legal system set up to HOPEFULLY get the facts straight first and collect the evidence and then punish accordingly.

I always felt like the Duggars were strange from the first time I heard about them years ago, I think then they had like 17 kids. Maybe it's because I'm not a parent myself, but I feel like having that many kids is a disservice to all of them. Even if two people are the most responsible parents in the world, I don't see how they can keep up with that many kids by themselves. The older siblings end up having to help raise the younger ones, and it robs them of a childhood and adolescence.

I have been assaulted before and i took a while to come to terms with what happened. I blamed myself forever but i came to realize once u have to question the incident then somethings wrong. Sometimes you are in put in situation where u can be manipulated and made to feel pressured into an uncomfortable act. This is so wrong on all levels. I showed my husband the Jeff Wittek/excavator footage. My husband is a welder for Komatsu (mining company). He welds mining equipment... he was in shock that Jeff didn't die. Also, sometimes those excavators have a mechanism where it'll just stop like that if it's spinning at high speeds.... it's a safety feature (not defending David by all means)... but some do have that safety feature. Edit-- you guys just mentioned this lol.

I’m a healthcare professional and I drive all over Houston to provide services to a lot of facilities from nursing homes (which can be depressing) to jails and private homes, refugee children’s homes, behavioral (mental care) hospitals...and I work 12 hours on Sat and Sun and 8.5 on Monday and I save my podcasts (if I can wait that long...) for my shifts. That guy's comments about not believing the alleged victim of Jake Paul is SO misinformed about consent! Consent is FLUID which means that you may consent to kissing and other parts of the encounter at the beginning but if at a later point the girl says "no", "I don't want to do that" or pushes you away then you STOP! If he then continues on after he NO LONGER HAS CONSENT then it is considered SEXUAL ASSAULT. Guys think that because they initially had consent then they can continue on to do what they want but nope that is NOT how consent works.
