I know this is unrelated to this video. But I saw your Critical Role episode 33 breakdown of the Otohan Thull fight. Could you guys do another breakdown of the episode 91 fight. And what you would’ve done differently.
We are not up to speed with CR campaign 3, but you’re also not the first person to request that fight so it’s definitely on our to do list. It’s just a matter of getting caught up and having the extra time on hand.
Those are all solid choices! I may have opted for the Cloak over Jake’s “uncommon” choice but that’s just me 🤷♂️😄 And Pearl of Power, to me, is not good.
Nothing wrong with the cloak at all. I did take the Resilient Con feat so my concentration checks are made at +7, I think. That definitely factored into my thinking. It a fan of the Pearl of Power? Why come?
@@JNJTabletop ooo given those circumstances I might have passed up the cloak as well! And I feel like the attunement portion of Pearl of Power is unnecessary. For instance 1 extra fireball isn’t worth an item slot that could do much more. I took away the attunement portion in the games I run and it hasn’t felt overpowered to me at all.

Attunement was a big drawback for me too!
