Check out my walk along Alcudia Beach which was filmed on the same day ruclips.net/video/T6qMUGTswkk/видео.html . If you are visiting Mallorca in November, check out this guide here: ruclips.net/video/bUpJedMwrSw/видео.html
Fantastic to see so many places open. Mims just past the Alcudia sign is fantastic value for money. Great to see that still open. If only we could find flights and accommodation.
It's purely the flights and accomm that are stopping people from coming. I'm sure you don't fancy a marathon drive down to Manchester when you have an airport in spitting distance. :(
I thought they maybe repairing it, but it's not to be apparently, which I saw confirmed in the local paper... BUT, I do wonder if they will put anything in its place!
It's amazing to see how many places are open. It's a bit sad to wave goodbye to the bridge to nowhere, it was an interesting feature, a good place to take photos & as you said it was good shade.
Hi Alex this was a lovely video. I personally like the edited videos better than the live ones, they really pack a punch, so much information, even so I will still be watching the live videos. Thanks Alex.
So lovely to see the port, a bit different to when I was there in September. A surprising amount of restaurants open. Glad they are doing something about the bridge at last. 😊
Love your videos.... get a real view of what it's like now. Its such a shame places close but I get the economies of scale. There's an argument to stay open through November and December and later in March.
I think so Mick. We do get some chilly days, but it's a different holiday with other things to do. And the sun's never long coming out again. ps. Thanks!
So nice! I want to explore that area a bit more next time. Interesting to see the work that is happening on the bridge to nowhere., That confectionery/almond shop looked lovely! Great that it’s staying open so long!
Thanks so much for watching Louise! Yes ! I couldn’t believe the shop was open either ! Normally that side of the port is completely dead at this time of year !
Glad to see the shops and restaurants still open and keeping the summer alive..looks like you had a good day today in alcudia, hehe.. LLM wont recognize the place by the time he goes back 😂
Trust me everyone would welcome the custom. Anyone working autónomo (freelance) - we still have to pay a hideous amount of money every month and tax and those of us in the tourism industry, our earnings take a massive dive on 1 November. It’s only fun to be this quiet for a week and that’s about it.
It is a shame that the hotels are closed for the Winter, what if people want a big of sun in the winter time. With global warming the hotels owners should think of staying open for the winter season.

That was fantastic Alex. The port looked gorgeous in the lovely weather. I can’t believe they are taking the bridge down. It’s been there for years

Great video Alex. Great to see some places open and dare I say without the hordes of tourists. Made my day to see Alcudia. Best wishes, John
It’s only nice for it to be so quiet when you can afford not to work I guess. 😢

Yes! The views are incredible from this point! Maybe they'll put something else in place... watch this space!

Hi Diane - Thanks for the feedback! I try and do a mix - funny the edited videos don’t do as well ! But always appreciate your comments 🤗

Ha, yes! it's been a rather strange feature in the port for quite some time. So long as they don't pull down the other one, I'll be happy!
Beautiful video as always Alex. A big thank you 👋👋
Thanks so much Jane!!
My special place..

It looks so lovely. ❤
Brilliant video Alex in my favourite resort! Weather looks amazing and so good to see a little bit of life around the place.
Thanks so much David. I was really pleasantly surprised to see so much open!

It was filmed on Saturday ! Today was really nippy ! 🥶 Wait til you see a video I’m currently editing. Get the Time Machine at the ready !
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun wowww. Seems that I'm excited about this already. Thanks Alex 🥰
Manolo’s is open all winter, which is great as my apartment is right next door :-)
Ha, that's Great!!!! Lucky you!
Oh how I love alcudia
Me too !
not sure if it's sad or if they welcome the tranquility as they welcome the income of the summer🙏

Gloria 👋!

It’s all down to the airlines and the hoteliers - if they can’t justify opening they won’t :(
Alcúdia, the home of the worst Michelin starred restaurant.
really?
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun Yes, visited pre covid, absolute rubbish and complete rip off!
