As long as someone hasn't adjusted the handbrake poorly before, no you shouldn't need to adjust the hand brake. The cable adjustment is just there to take the slack out of the cable, not to make it work better otherwise it's no different to driving with the handbrake on.
Helpful video, gotta tackle my rear hub as its groaning a little when turning. Do you know the torque values for the hub? and any tips to know on these?

Can't remember what the torque setting were tbh. If you xan swing a spanner, you'll be fine with this. Was quite a straight forward job iirc.
I'm also not that keen on trox screws I'm for ever breaking trox sockets I'm on my way to halfords now to get a replacement t20 bit
They're a nightmare, not that pozi screws are much better.
